Sun patches.
Garden patrol.
Occasional dramatic staring into the distance.

No productivity goals.
No agenda.

Just following the rhythm of the day.

Luke seems to have it figured out.

Chocolate cherry sunflower.

Not a giant variety.
Not supposed to tower over everything else.

Same soil.
Same water.
Same row.

Still decided to show off.

There’s always one. 😏

It doesn’t get discarded.

It becomes Pure Gold Soap.

Tallow.
Calendula leftover from my extractions.
No added fragrance.
Nothing extra.

Formulated with intention.
Left mild on purpose.

A simple, dependable, everyday bar —
especially if your skin prefers less.

It’s in the link in bio.

This isn’t chaos.

It’s a swarm.

When a hive grows strong and crowded,
the old queen leaves with part of the colony
to start again somewhere else.

Thousands fill the sky at once.

It looks eerie.
It sounds like static electricity.

But it’s simply transition.

Nature is wild —

This one doesn’t burn.
It doesn’t sting.
And it doesn’t require a “detox phase.”

It’s baking soda free —
which is usually the culprit behind irritation.

For me, the bigger issue was reliability.

I tolerated “okay” natural deodorant for 25 years.
Eventually I decided okay wasn’t good enough.

So I made one that actually holds up.

If you need something that’s kind to your skin and holds up in summer,

But my husband goes through it by the gallon.
So here we are.

25 pounds of tomatoes.
6 quarts of ketchup.

Cooked down slowly.
Stirred for hours.
Reduced to its essence.

Abundance becomes shelves lined for the rest of the year.

Don’t worry —
he made the second batch. 😏

Recipe is in the comments
(in case someone in your house also drinks ketchup).

They care about feed.
Dirt baths.
And who’s first to the juicy bug.

Farm life has its own priorities.

There’s something grounding about that.

It’s a good reminder.

As skin changes,
it doesn’t need force.

It needs lipids.

This is pasture-raised tallow,
slowly rendered in my kitchen.

Not trendy.
Not loud.
Just biologically compatible nourishment.

This is where vitality begins —
long before it reaches a jar.

Tomatoes splitting on the vine.
Cucumbers everywhere.
Summer squash multiplying overnight.

Some of it ends up on the table.
Some of it ends up in soap.

Either way, it starts in the same soil.

It’s simple — but it’s connected.

If you’re curious about that connection,
From Soil to Skin is in the link in bio.

For years, I accepted “kind of works.”

Hot days required strategy.
Frequent showers were involved.

Eventually I decided effective
and gentle
weren’t mutually exclusive.

This one works.
Without irritation.
Without baking soda.

If you’re done negotiating with your deodorant,
it’s in the link in bio.
