Sunset Farm Berners An AKC Bernese Mountain Dog breeder located in Central Pennsylvania. I am a new Breeder located in Central Pennsylvania.

I have a love for the Bernese Mountain Dogs and first fell in love with them 5 years ago when I got my first Bernese pup. I didn't have the ability to breed them at the time but now that I have been around the breed and gained years of knowledge and compassion for them, I have decided to start breeding quality pups and can't wait to give others this wonderful opportunity to fall in love with a Bernese.

Hi all
I have been doing some reading on a Swiss mountain dog and Bernese mt dog
The Swiss is a shorter coat but has allot of other similarities to a Bernese mt dog.
What are people’s thoughts on this breed? And what if they were bred together?
Pros. Cons ?

Good Monday morning!!
I want to thank each and every person who has supported me in my breeding journey!!
My next planned litter will be in spring of 2027 . This will be a Ruby and Max litter again.
I am in the slow process of looking for another female but I am picky so it probably won’t be a quick find.
I am thankful for all the updates that you have all been giving me of the pups transitions.
Thank you all again!!!
