When your best friend is about to say something embarrassing and you have to intervene … Finn is there for Enzo and Enzo is there for Finn ❤️. Those two formed an unlikely friendship, both waiting patiently for their chance at a forever home … or a foster home for now.

Today we remember and honor the brave men and women who gave everything for our freedom. ❤️🤍💙

As we spend time with family, friends, and the dogs who make our lives brighter, we pause to reflect on the sacrifices made by so many heroes and their loved ones.

From all of us at the rescue - thank you to those who served, those we lost, and the families who continue to carry their memory forward. We hope today is filled with love, gratitude, and a little extra kindness.

🐾 ❤️ HAPPY NATIONAL DOG RESCUE DAY! ❤️🐾

Today we celebrate the scared dogs who learned to trust again, the seniors who got a second chance, the puppies who never gave up, and the adopters, fosters, volunteers, and supporters who make rescue possible every single day.

Most rescue stories start with heartbreak, but because of communities like our Coastal Family, many end with warm beds, happy tails, and forever homes.

Thank you for believing that every dog deserves love - Harper here is one of those dogs who would love her happily ever after!

❤️🐾 SPECIAL TALENT ALERT 🐾❤️

Enzo (left) and Finn (right) are very talented sheppies! At our May adoption event they debuted their synchronized treat catching trick!

No treats were harmed in the making of this performance… because they caught EVERY. SINGLE. ONE.

What’s especially heart warming about those two is that it was Finn’s first adoption event, he is one of the new additions to the Coastal family who had lived in a remote field in the Inland Empire, not having been exposed to “city living” before. In the beginning, he was overwhelmed by loud traffic and had mini panic attacks trying to go on his daily walks. Our wonderful volunteers were able to help him gain confidence, step by step, but the biggest help came from another canine, Enzo. You see, Enzo was shy and timid in the beginning, too, he had a buddy, Cooper who helped him in his early days. Cooper has since been adopted and now Enzo is giving back and helping Finn enjoy his walks and he also had his back at Finn’s very first adoption event.

They are available separately or together, their only ask is an occasional treat (or two or fifteen).
