“He/she has lineage” Well did you know lineage can also decrease the value of your gecko?

If its parents and siblings are subpar even if your gecko is visually high end it has a high probability of producing more subpar animals.
Lineage only adds to the value if the lineage is high quality and consistent. Meaning that the majority of the bloodline produces high end animals.
The best way new keepers can increase their odds of producing high quality geckos is to ensure you’re working with a consistent bloodline. Finding a well established breeder is a huge assist as most established breeders are extremely familiar with their bloodlines and probable pairing outcomes. Most breeders are more than happy to show you related geckos and help steer you in the right direction.
