IMPORTANT PRICING UPDATE EFFECTIVE OCTOBER 1

Doggie Day Spa is switching from generic weight based pricing to a standardized breed based grooming model. This reflects the actual grooming time, coat type, tools, and products required for each breed.

We also want to be honest. After two years of keeping prices stable, the rising cost of doing business has made a price adjustment necessary. Equipment maintenance, utilities, insurance, gas, and training have all increased. We do not like raising prices any more than you do, but it is essential to continue providing safe, high quality grooming for our community.

We could cut corners or switch to cheaper bathing products, but that would compromise our work. We refuse to jeopardize the care and wellbeing of our furry friends. We pride ourselves on being first class providers, and your pets deserve nothing less.

Thank you for your understanding and for supporting a local small business. We look forward to serving you and your pets for many years to come.

Our new pricing structure can now be seen in our online booking website. If your breed is not listed, please let us know during scheduling and we will get it added. If you have any additional questions, please reach out by texting your groomer directly through the scheduling software or by texting our main line at (304) 350-2254.

Families grow through honesty, and sometimes that means sharing the tough moments. Because we see our customers as family, we want to be vulnerable with you for a minute.

This week two of our grooming vehicles were involved in accidents. The most important thing is that our drivers are OK, and we’re grateful for that. One of the vehicles will require more time for repairs and the other is back on the road with limitations as new parts are shipped.

We also want to share that one of our groomers is no longer part of the Doggie Day Spa team. We’re adjusting our capacity and appreciate your patience while we work through this transition.

Right now, we’re short one of three vehicles and short a groomer, which means we’re operating with limited capacity for a bit. We’re still here, still working hard, and still committed to taking great care of your pups, but we will need to shift appointments, slow down a little, and rearrange schedules while we get back on our feet.

We’re asking for your patience, understanding, and a little grace while we limp along for a minute. We’ll be back at full strength as soon as possible, and we appreciate every one of you for sticking with us.

As a Disabled Navy Veteran, I carry deep pride in this country and the values we celebrate today. Independence Day isn’t about politics; it’s about the nation we stand for, the people who make it strong, and the shared pride we carry as Americans.
