Well, Dusty, Daisy, Seven, Chickie, Lyla, Gabby, & Penny have 4 new baby sisters that are growing and will be laying along side them in a few months.

Yesterday we got 4 Sapphire Gem chicks that are the prettiest blue. 3 will be darker blue and 1 will be lighter blue. I will keep posting pictures and videos as they grow and develop more but here is their first picture from when they were on their way home.

We moved the girls run and coop recently. They are happy and loving their new space.

The girls are laying eggs pretty regularly now and have waiting lists of people waiting to purchase their eggs. They are healthy and strong and quite the flock.

We will be adding more girls to the laying mix this spring, so definitely keep your eyes out for the new babies.

Got the girls coop and run ready for winter. The heaters are going and the lay lights are on. We’re looking forward to their first winter.

Getting the girls ready for winter before the cold snap hits. Got their run partially covered and got one of the run heaters installed today. Also got the lay lights put in so they’ll keep laying all winter long.

The rest of the week will be spent finishing getting the run fully covered and then getting the solar panels hooked up to the cameras and getting the roost heater installed.

Teaching and showing some of my favorite littles about our chickens is exciting.
