Planning a trip? Make sure your pup is ready for their stay at Sleepy Hollow Pet Ranch! 🐾✈️

Before drop-off, here are a few simple tips to help your dog have a and happy boarding experience:

🐶 Pack the essentials:

○ 1 Personal Item (blanket, hoodies, t-shirts etc. Please make sure it’s washable)

○ 2 Toys

○ No beds or mats - we provide lambswool mats, and raised Kuranda beds!

○ Food

○ Packaged in Ziplocks, no larger than one gallon bags.

○ Labeled with First & Last name only

○ Please let us know correct cup measurements per meal if not pre-measured ziplocks.

○ Treats - All In One Ziplock (Can also be a gallon size!)

○ Over The Counter Medication/Supplements

○ Can be in food, but we will need them listed in the feeding notes.

○ Prescription Medications/Supplements

○ Separate Ziplock from food, and we will need the original prescription/package included, labeled with first and last name.

💉 Stay up to date: Ensure all vaccinations are current, and we’ve received them 48 hours prior to your stay for a safe environment for every guest.

❤️ Exercise matters: A good walk before drop-off can help burn off nervous energy and ease the transition.

✂️ Groom before you pick up! A bath or groom before you pick up, helps your pup come home smelling and looking great for all of the ‘I missed you’ snuggles!

At Sleepy Hollow Pet Ranch, we treat your pets like family—so you can travel with peace of mind knowing they’re in loving hands. 🐕💚

Wellness Wednesday!
✨ Tip From Our Groomer Whitney! ✨

Grooming can be scary for some dogs, making it less stressful for them also helps you! Desensitizing them to struggle spots, especially like their faces, ears, feet, and toes, and rewarding them with treats for a few minutes, a couple times a day can make a huge difference!

Why does this matter?
✨ It reduces fear and anxiety — no more wrestling matches or panic during grooming
✨ It prevents injuries; for both you and your dog
✨ It allows groomers and vets to do their jobs safely
✨ It helps catch health issues early (like skin problems, lumps, or infections)
✨ It builds trust between you and your dog
