Killian had an incredible weekend at the Chambersburg Area Kennel Club Obedience Trial in Shippensburg, Pa where he absolutely crushed it to lock in his Obedience Beginner Novice (BN) Title!
While he only needed 3 qualifying scores (passes) to earn the title, Killian went above and beyond by completing 4 straight passes in a row. His consistency was unbelievable, earning an identical, stellar score of 194 out of 200 at every single trial!
Congratulations to Killian and Jeff Faulkner for a job well done!

So proud of Killian — Daire What A Dapper Devil JH CGC STR TKN, who has officially earned his AKC Trick Dog Intermediate Title!

This boy just keeps adding titles and showing us he can do it all!

And a heartfelt thank you to Jeff Faulkner for believing in Killian and putting so much time, love, and dedication into helping him become the incredible dog he is.

Killian also had an incredible weekend at the Irish Red & White Setter National Specialty in Greeley, Colorado!

For such a young dog, Killian accomplished SO much. He earned THREE Reserve Major wins, including TWO at Specialties — one of them being the National Specialty!

But that wasn't all…

Killian also helped his Junior Handler earn Reserve Best Junior Handler at the IRWSAA Concurrent Specialty!

That accomplishment is especially impressive because Junior Showmanship is a completely different challenge. Juniors spend much more time in the ring, and their dogs are expected to stay engaged, attentive, and “on” throughout the entire procedure. And Killian did it with someone he had just met!

This young dog continues to amaze me with his versatility, temperament, willingness to work, and ability to step into whatever is asked of him. From the field, to obedience, to the conformation ring, and now helping a Junior Handler, Killian is proving himself to be the kind of Irish Red & White Setter we dreamed of producing.

I honestly don’t even know where to begin. This weekend at the Irish Red and White Setter National Specialty in Greeley, Colorado, Lucy became a new Champion! (pending AKC approval) Lucy did a clean sweep of the weekend; overall she was awarded the National Specialty Best in Sweepstakes, three Specialty majors, 2 best of winners, and finished the weekend with another major for her last needed point for her championship!

I can still remember those six little puppies arriving and wondering what the future would hold for each of them. To watch one of those babies grow up, step into the show ring, and now earn her Championship over the National Specialty weekend is a feeling I simply can’t put into words.

Lucy is not just a Champion. She is a piece of my heart. She represents the beginning of Daire, the dreams I had for my first litter, and everything I hope to accomplish with this incredible breed.

I am beyond grateful to my Truly Red & Whites family — Wendy, Rachel and Lindsay. Your love, friendship, support, and belief in Lucy and in me have meant more than you will ever know. I truly could not have done this without you.

And a very special, heartfelt THANK YOU to Lauren Lang for also showing Lucy so beautifully and giving her your trust, skill, and heart in the ring. You helped my girl shine.

I am so incredibly proud of you, my beautiful little devil girl.
