We are a small, appointment-based salon focused on providing a calm, personalized, and low-stress grooming experience for every dog that walks through our door.

🐶 Is your dog nervous, scared, shy, or reactive? We understand that some dogs need a little extra patience, space, and understanding. Whether your pup is anxious around other dogs, fearful of grooming, or simply does better in a quieter environment, we strive to make their visit as comfortable as possible. This also means that we will not push dogs beyond their limits. The dogs always come first. Our goal is to not just make your dog look good, but to help them feel as comfortable as possible.

Every dog is different and we believe that every dog deserves kindness and patience.

We are able to accommodate dog-reactive/-aggressive dogs as we are appointment based and are able to schedule accordingly (dogs that are not fond of other dogs have the whole place to themselves and don't ever have to encounter other pups).

Pup Profile: Wanda!

My sweet, timid, sassy beautiful girl is the first "bite risk" I took in, and the first dog used for breeding for years and then retired to the shelter.

Wanda has the s***k and sass of a middle school girl and the quiet, inconspicuous nature of an old soul. She was initially in Indiana (I think) and eventually saved by the Big Dog Ranch Rescue in Florida, who drove her to me in Tennessee.

Initially thought to be a senior, I applied for Wanda after losing Maggs and before opening a rescue. Just before transport, the rescue called to tell me they thought she was only about 7 and asked if I would still take her. I did.

Despite having had many litters, Wanda does not have patience for puppies, or maybe it's because she had so many puppies that her patience has faded. She clung to Finnie from the start, seeking comfort and protection from a little spicy gal who constantly growled and showed her teeth at Wanda.

Wanda is a bit of a loner, loves to sleep and has her single spot in the right side corner of the couch.

After over a year, she started coming around for pets, greeting me at the door, and talking back. She ALWAYS has to have the last word, and I let her.

The pups have a new crash pad and they're loving it! Plenty of room to spread out and nap, chew on yak, or just hang out with their pals. I won't lie, I've sat there, too, when there was no room on the couch. Thank you, Ms. Mary Jewell Selph!

Who is looking for a part time pet? Being a foster means you can enjoy the company of a furry friend until their forever is found, without the expenses of having a dog. Vet bills, medication (if necessary), and food covered. You provide a loving, safe home.

Being a foster helps us save more dogs, like SnowPea, who found himself at Montgomery County Animal Care & Control at the tender age of 13. Fostering does so much for dogs, giving them a second chance filled with hope and love.
