Meet Makar! 🐾

At just four months old, Makar had a rough start to life, born on the streets to his feral mama. But you would never know it—this sweet boy had nothing but love to give.

The moment you started petting him, his purr motor would turn on. ❤️ He loved lounging on his giant pizza pillow, playing with his favorite banana toy, and soaking up all the attention he could get.

Makar completely stole our hearts, and we already can’t wait to welcome this handsome little guy back to Whiskers & Wildflowers Resort! 🐱🌼

Meet Max! 🩵🐾

Max spent his first few days doing quite a bit of hissing, but that never worries me. Every cat adjusts at their own pace, and I always let them settle in on their own terms.

Sure enough, once Max felt comfortable, he completely came out of his shell. Before long, he was greeting me with enthusiastic head butts that practically knocked me over!

After spending 17 days together, we became great friends. He loved being brushed, head scratches, and his favorite part of every day was mealtime. He would sit patiently while I prepared his food, waiting like a perfect gentleman.

Watching shy cats grow into confident, affectionate companions during their stay is one of the most rewarding parts of what I do. Thanks for staying with me, Max! 💚

Luna was a sweet, shy girl who preferred the comfort of her cozy hideout bed during her stay. While she liked having her own little safe space, she absolutely loved gentle pets.

Sometimes life throws unexpected emergencies our way, and when it does, having a safe place for your cat can make all the difference.

Meet Nyx, a 7-month-old kitten whose family needed boarding on very short notice due to an emergency. I was able to welcome her within just a few hours, and helping families during times like these is one of my favorite parts of what I do.

It’s only Day 1, and Nyx is already loving the pets and attention! 🐾💕

They settle in like they’ve never left, feel right at home, and always have the best stays. So grateful for the continued trust.

Moving is stressful… and not just for us. 📦🐱

Boxes everywhere.
Furniture disappearing.
Doors to the outside constantly opening.
Their favorite hiding spots suddenly gone.

While we understand what’s happening, our cats don’t. To them, their safe, familiar world is changing without warning — and that can feel overwhelming.

These two sweet guests started experiencing that chaos at home… until they came to stay with me. 💛

Now they’re relaxing with plenty of calm attention while their new home gets ready for them.

My goal is always to provide the most stress-free experience possible — especially during big life transitions like moving. Because when life gets chaotic, your cats deserve calm. 🐾

🐾 Guest Spotlight: Bucket 🐾

Bucket is a 3-year-old semi-feral girl who came to us as a long-term guest for 44 days! While she started out shy, she didn’t take long to show her softer side. By day 3, we had already won her over—and she was purring away like she’d known us forever.

Bucket holds the title of our most treat-motivated guest yet. The moment the treats came out, she came running as fast as her little legs would carry her. Her favorite place to hang out during free-roam time was the hideout boxes, where she loved to observe the world from a cozy, safe spot.

Having Bucket with us for so long meant she truly became part of our family. Watching her confidence grow and seeing her personality shine was such a special experience, and she’ll always hold a very special place in our hearts. 💕

🌟 Guest Spotlight: Benny 🌟 Benny let us know right away that being away from his mom was not his favorite thing. But after a few days (and realizing this place comes with free roam time and unlimited fun), he had a change of heart! Soon he was racing to the door to explore, rolling in catnip, and living his best resort life. Talk about a total 180—we loved watching Benny come out of his shell!

Guest Spotlight: Sheldon
Meet Sheldon, a 12-year-old diabetic with very firm boundaries! Sheldon wanted nothing to do with me and made sure his feelings were well known—but treats quickly became our common ground. Thanks to his love for snacks, medication time went smoothly. Sheldon preferred minimal social interaction, relaxing on his own. A strong personality with a soft spot for snacks 💙
