Backpacks packed? Lunchboxes ready? Before the school bell rings, give your pet’s safety routine a quick check, too! 🎒🐾

Back-to-school changes can mean more open doors, tempting lunchbox smells and pets who suddenly spend more time alone. Keep backpacks and school supplies out of reach—especially sugar-free gum or candy that may contain xylitol, medications, chocolate, grapes, raisins, batteries, glue and small objects that can be swallowed.

A little preparation can prevent a frightening emergency. Be Prepared. Act Confidently.

September is National Preparedness Month, and at Team Rubicon we know what disaster looks like up close. We have seen what being ready can change, and what happens when people are not.

All month, we'll be sharing preparedness tips to help you get yourself, your people, your pets, and your home ready before disaster is at your door.

Start here: discover your disaster personality. Take our National Preparedness Month quiz and find out if you're The Panic Buyer, Prepared in Theory, or somewhere in between. Then tag the friend you already know the answer for.

While is coming to a close, the fight to bring relief to itchy pets doesn't end.

As a reminder, the AVMA and Zoetis have teamed up to create a new veterinary toolkit to help you and your team raise awareness, support itchy pets and their owners, and identify and manage underlying conditions earlier.
