Come enjoy guided tours of the practice; raffles, prizes, and presents; and refreshments from 1:00-3:00 pm! Plus, you can support a good cause. Donations made to Henry's Helping Paws supports their mission to assist seniors and their beloved pets.

Help Animal Care PA celebrate National Pet Week by coming out to Englewood Brewing for a fundraiser dinner in honor of TLC recipient Daisy! She'll be there in all of her adorable glory, and you'll even be able to drink an Upsy Daisy beer, part of a collaboration with Englewood. The fundraiser dinner is May 3 from 5:00-9:00 pm, but feel free to have a pint of Upsy Daisy until it runs out! A portion of the sales from the beer goes to Animal Care PA's mission to FEED, CARE, & EDUCATE people and animals in PA.

Meet Jasmine: Our EDUCATE program recipient!

"I have wanted to work with animals for my entire life, quite literally! I remember in kindergarten when our teachers asked us what we wanted to be when we grew up, I always said I wanted to take care of animals. Now, going to school to become a vet tech, that is exactly what I will be able to do. I am sure that young me would be very proud of current me! I have been working hard all my life pursuing this career path and I am so honored to be given this scholarship. It is so important to me to receive this because my family has been out of work ever since the beginning of the pandemic and it is important for me to be able to pay for everything that I can on my own, and receiving this scholarship helps me out so much" - Jasmine

Meet KITTY: A veterinary CARE grant recipient!

Kitty is a 2-year-old feline that was brought to Sunbury Animal Hospital in need of urgent care for a Urethral Obstruction. Kitty needed urgent care to relieve his blockage and ultimately needed surgery due to the severity of his condition. His owner was not able to afford surgery without the assistance of The Last Chance program. Without treatment, Kitty’s health would have deteriorated, and his quality of life would have been greatly decreased. Kitty is now recovering from surgery and is doing well. He will return to living a happy, healthy life with his owner, thanks to Animal Care PA’s TLC Program and the care that Sunbury Animal Hospital provided.

Meet Candy & Mischief: A recipient of our FEED program!
This program provides food to the pets of senior citizens, and helps to keep them together longer without the threat of surrendering to a shelter because of financial constraints.

"My owner has Lymphedema in her arm and if I scratch her, I can put her in the hospital. So, I need my nails trimmed often. This is where Henry’s Helping Paws comes in. They pay for my nail trims every month. They also help with normal care vet bills and shots and pay for the exams I need.

We are so thankful for Henry’s Helping Paws to be there when I need to see a vet! I know I have a very long life ahead of me and they’ll always be there for me! A sincere thank you from my owner too!!!" -Mischief
