If you don’t know who I am, I’d like to introduce myself 👋🏼😊 My name is Christina Vuillemot, and my love for animals started long before I even realized it was my purpose.
The first dog pictured is my aunt’s pure German Shepherd, Daisy. I was always told she had a love for me like no other, and she was truly my first experience of that deep, unspoken bond between a child and a dog.
When I was 3, I got my first dog of my own, Jessie. He was found in a trash bag in the middle of the road by my mom’s friend, who immediately knew to call us. From the moment he came into our lives, he became family.
Growing up, I was always surrounded by dogs, and by the time I was 8, I got my next girl, Shelby. There was never a point in my life where animals weren’t part of my home or my heart.
I couldn’t afford a horse of my own growing up, but I was lucky enough to have a close friend in school named Genia who changed everything for me. One day, she put me ba****ck on one of her horses and told me to “go jump that pole over there.” I can still remember how that moment felt—equal parts laughter, fear, and pure excitement. It was wild, unexpected, and unforgettable, and in that moment, something in me just came alive. That was the day the horse world truly opened up to me.
Genia has since passed away, but she holds such a special place in my heart and is a huge part of why I love horses the way I do today 😇
Later on, one of my very first jobs at a farm only deepened that love. As soon as I was old enough, I began working in doggy daycares, kennels, & farms. Anywhere I could be around animals. That path eventually led me to becoming a Certified Veterinary Assistant and working in animal hospitals, where I continued growing my passion into a career built on care and compassion.
Today, my dream is to one day have a farm of my own where I can rescue and care for animals who deserve a second chance—and be a voice for those who don’t have one.
This is more than just what I do; it’s truly who I am.
I would be honored to share my love, experience, and knowledge I’ve gained with you and your animals ❤️
