Just a little reminder about my weekend and holiday pricing! 😊

Weekend visits/walks do always have an additional surcharge, which can vary depending on your location. Holiday weekends also have an additional holiday surcharge. These charges help account for my time, availability, and the extra driving that can sometimes be involved with fitting visits in on weekends and holidays. I appreciate everyone’s understanding and support!

I also wanted to give a quick availability update:

📅 Weekly walks: I am currently fully booked and am not able to take on any additional weekly walking clients at this time.

🏡 Overnights: I am also not taking on any additional overnight bookings at this time.

I’m so incredibly thankful for how busy and supportive everyone has kept my little business. I appreciate every single client that trusts me with their care 🐶🐱🤍 Thank you!

Hi everyone! We have officially become a two-dog household! 🥹 We brought home our new puppy Ember on Sunday. She’s around 15 weeks old and came all the way from Alabama, so we’ve been go, go, go getting her settled, adjusted, and comfortable in her new home!

If you’ve recently messaged me and I haven’t gotten back to you yet, that’s why! I’ve finally been able to catch up on my inquiries and respond to the messages I hadn’t opened yet. Thank you so much for your patience! 🤍

A couple quick schedule updates:

🏡 Overnights: Just like the past couple of years, I will not be offering overnight pet sitting during the late fall/winter months. I’m also not accepting any new overnight bookings for the remainder of this season so I can be home with our new puppy while she adjusts. If you already have an overnight booked with me, your reservation is not affected! 🐾

🐕 Weekly walks: My weekly schedule is currently completely full, so I’m not taking on any additional weekly walking clients. If an opening comes up, I’ll be sure to post it.

Thank you all so much for your understanding and continued support!

A little business update from me! 🐾

Recently, I tried switching to a new personal scheduling app to help organize my calendar during busier periods with additional cat visits, vacation coverage, schedule changes, and other appointments mixed into my regular routine.

After giving it a fair shot, I’ve realized it just isn’t the right fit. While I hoped it would streamline things, I’ve run into enough issues that I’ve decided to return to the scheduling system that has worked well for me over the years and make a few adjustments to my process moving forward.

I also want to sincerely apologize if these scheduling issues affected any of my visits in any way. The care of your pets is something I take very seriously, and I’m committed to continuously improving the systems I use to provide the best care possible.

Thank you all for your continued support and trust 🤍🐾

Walks will be limited this week and may be switched to outdoor yard play and potty breaks when available due to the heat. Your pets’ safety and comfort are my top priority, and pavement temperatures can become dangerously hot very quickly.

Thank you for your understanding as we help keep everyone happy, healthy, and cool during this heat wave! ☀️🐶

Nobody should be out walking the dog on Wednesday or Thursday afternoon. The heat index is expected to be near 100°.

Keep your pets indoors and hydrated, especially during the hottest part of the day (10am-6pm).

This morning started like any other Monday. My third stop of the day was Miss Millie.

When I arrived at her home, I walked in and was met with the heartbreaking reality that Millie had crossed the rainbow bridge. She had been dealing with some health issues lately, and her mom & dad had been doing everything they possibly could—advocating for her, getting her into a new vet, and working hard to get her health back on track. That’s what makes this loss even more devastating.

Millie was one of my OG clients. I’ve had the privilege of seeing her weekly for years, and she truly became part of my routine and my heart. She loved playing fetch, would roll around in the snow like a puppy, and always found the best sunny spots just to lay and relax.

Nothing prepares you for walking into a visit like that, or for the phone call that had to follow to her family. I am so grateful I got to be part of Millie’s life and that she was such a constant in mine for so long.

My heart is with her family during this incredibly difficult time. I hope Millie is up there playing endless games of fetch, rolling in all the snow, and enjoying all the Beggin’ Strips she could ever want.

Run free, sweet Mills 🤍
