Hi everyone! It's me, Keela Bee! 🐾

I've spent over a YEAR waiting at the shelter, and now I'm in a foster home, dreaming of the day someone finally says, “SHE'S THE ONE!” 🥹💕

I'm about 5 years young, weigh 55 pounds, have a beautiful brindle coat, and the cutest little gray muzzle! I'm a smart girl who knows tricks, loves belly rubs, and has VERY particular taste in squeaky tennis balls. 😂🎾

I'm up to date on my shots, heartworm NEGATIVE, and ready to find my happily-ever-after!

🐝 A few things about me:

💛 Smart girl who knows several tricks!

🎾 Belly rubs and squeaky tennis balls are my jam!

🐶 I do well with my foster siblings and would do best with dogs my size or bigger — no small dogs, please!

🐱 No kitties, please!

🏡 A fenced-in yard would be wonderful!

👧 Older kids (10+) are recommended.

Steve - Update #2

First off, Thank You for your prayers and good vibes for my boy and kind words. We appreciate it so much.

Stevie was doing much better today and was going to come home tonight but the Dr. wanted to check his liver levels first and that changed everything. 😫 It was extremely high and they want to keep him overnight again to continue to treat and monitor him.

His blood pressure is normal, kidney levels good but the red blood cell count is elevated.

All of the symptoms he had, made it look like it was anaphylaxis, however, the ultrasound points to pancreatitis. Now with his liver levels skyrocketing, toxicity comes into play. Normal levels are 150 and Steve is at 10,000 😮.

Freida and I went to visit him and he was so glad to see us. He didn't eat the food they had for him tonight but drank all his water. When it was time to leave, because he was getting tired, he wanted to come with us. It was hard to leave him. 😢

Please keep Stevie in your prayers as he really needs them. They are very concerned with this new development and need to get this under control I love my boy so much and don't want anything to happen to him. It is hard seeing him like this, not himself.

- UPDATE ON STEVE -

I just got home, by myself. 😢 To say I am scared, is an understatement. The vet is still a little stumped after bloodwork, x-rays and other tests. Steve has some fluid in his abdomen and she was concerned that he had internal bleeding from a tumor possibly. She did not feel, he needed emergency surgery from the tests they have done so far. She felt he was dehydrated and was giving him fluids to help with that. The Animal Ultrasound Specialist is in at 8 am and there are no others waiting so he should be able to be first. They will also give him fentinayl for pain and I just can't remember everything else clearly. I've been up for 24 hours straight and am exhausted. I had to also sign that I DO want them to resuscitate him. 😭 He was so out of it when she brought him to me to say goodnight. She wants to test him for lepto and she is wondering about pancreatitis. So much going on. I miss my boy, Evie misses her brother. In these pictures you can see how uncomfortable he is. When they were taking him back to his bed, he didn't want to walk wifthout me. 😫

Please continue to pray for Steve and me.

Something is wrong. He was off last evening and fine today but he got sick at 8 pm and lethargic and shallow breathing. I didn't want to take any chances.

The DNA results are in on Keela Bee!

I swabbed Keela's mouth on 10/1 for her DNA test and sent it out in the mail that same day. I received an email last night, that her results were already back. This girl is all that and then some! 🥰🤣🐕

Keela Bee, the sweetest girl ever! She is ready for adoption and to find her forever family. More to follow!

Things have been really crazy over here and every time I go to video doggies, I don't have my phone. All are doing well. Keela is great with my two and JoJo even gave her a kiss when she was in potty area and Keela was in fenced in area. 🥰

I have been trying to get all my Halloween decorations up so the pups have been inside or on the deck. Still more to do today. Have a blessed day.

Miss Keela Bee 🐝 went to the vet today to get her HW Test, Rabies and other shots so she will be up to date. She was hilarious 😂. She was a crazy girl. She even did an almost somersault. The pictures are in reverse order as she did finally calm down some. Lol. The vet said we are going to go with her being around 5 due to the graying in her face and her teeth. Wisdom Panel received her DNA swabs on Monday so we have 2-3 weeks to wait for results of what breeds she is. Anyone have some guesses and yes, we already expect some pittie in there. 😂
