It’s the season for loud noises and bright lights with July 4th around the corner. Dogs react differently to these things. Some dogs are non reactive and some dogs that have not been in previous years are now reactive. Some we know are reactive
Please make sure to secure fences and gates
Dogs that have never jumped a fence or that you thought wouldn’t or couldn’t may do this if scared or startled
If your dog is afraid and you know this or this is their first year with you and you are not sure please be diligent and leash them When taking them outside.
Even double leashing with a leash to the collar and putting a harness on them with another leash to assure that you have full control of them
Make sure they have a collar on with tags or that your number is written on their collar in permanent marker
If not microchipped, get them chipped and if they are chipped make sure that your chip is registered to the correct name and number and address.
We have a great number of dogs that go missing and are never found or hurt while running blind for fear.
Don’t let this be one of our babies !!
