Today I’m feeling especially thankful for the paws that have walked beside me through every season of life. Missing Viper deeply and carrying his memory in my heart every day. Grateful for Lexus, my sweet and loyal companion, and for Giulia, my wild little soul who marches to the beat of her own drum. Life with Great Danes is never ordinary, but I wouldn’t have it any other way. ❤️

Two years ago, life changed in a way I still struggle to put into words.

My mom was the kind of parent who showed up. She believed in me through every wild idea, every dream, every season of life. She helped whenever she could, loved deeply.

There are days I smile when I think of our memories, and days the grief still feels just as heavy as it did in the beginning. Both can exist at the same time.

Life hasn’t been the same without you, Mom. I carry your strength, your encouragement, and your heart with me in everything I do.

Happy Mother’s Day 💐

Being a dog mom can feel lonely sometimes. You love, protect, nurture, worry, sacrifice, and care for them with your whole heart… yet so many people still say, “well, you’re not really a mom.”

But the sleepless nights, the vet visits, the routines, the anxiety, the unconditional love, and the heartbreak are all real. They depend on us for their entire lives, and we carry that responsibility every single day.

So today, I’m celebrating the dog moms too. The ones whose hearts beat for paws instead of people. The love is still maternal, the bond is still family, and the grief and joy are just as deep. 🖤🐾👑

Morning walk ☀️

Lexus seems a little sad these days, didn’t want to eat much this morning. I think she is staying to realize Viper hasn’t came back home so we are comforting her and giving her extra attention. She avoids being around Giulia which is not like her.

These girls are what’s holding me together right now 🥹 It’s been almost two weeks since Viper left us. We’re learning a new routine, a new normal. Life won’t ever be the same, but we’re choosing to make the best of it.

I used to avoid taking them places Viper couldn’t go (aside from walks). It’s hard to explain—I just never wanted him to feel left out. But now, before Lexus starts to slow down, I want to give her and Giulia all the adventures they deserve 🤍
