It's that time of year again. The breeders are getting their cutest pups cleaned and fluffed up just in time for Holly and Billy to love on for the holidays.
Three months later and puppy has grown into a menace that chews your shoes and barks at the neighborhood cat.
Two weeks later and nobody can take it anymore, it's a trip to the shelter to be left alone and afraid until somebody pulls him out to be saved or doomed.
Save everyone the drama and hassle this year by starting off right with a trainer that cares.
I offer discounts to everyone that adopts from their local shelter.
Give to those that love unconditionally. Give a shelter dog a home for Christmas. 🎄

I've met many animals at shelters that have been surrendered for 'behavioral issues' only to realize later that they have suffered a great deal of misunderstanding from their former families.
Some breeds are sensitive, like border collies. Others are stubborn as can be. The owner's view of an event can have a great impact the life of a dog.
A dog out for a walk on a leash suddenly being attacked by another dog while the owner seemingly stood by, for fear of being bit, may feel betrayed and alone. Now they may feel they must protect themselves in a hopeless scary world and lash out. Now you own a 'reactive dog. A single event could trigger an emotional response.
Because dogs are so good at learning by 'grouping'. (associating similar situations to automatically respond) They may even associate the incorrect reaction to an event or stimulus. (ex. being disciplined after an event may trigger a fear of discipline for coming when called, causing the dog to run away when called.)
