Greetings! My name is Zoë Johnson! My dog training journey originated when I was just a kid, though it accelerated when I got my very first personal dog, Remedy!
Remë, for short, is a very active and smart australian shepherd who certainly enjoys having a task to perform. He lives to train and plays well with his 10 month old aussie sister, Rowan!
I am a positive-based dog trainer; meaning I refrain from utilizing punishment or negative training tools (e-collars, prongs, etc.) Currently, we train obedience, advanced performance tricks, disc freestyle, and agility! We have hopes of competing soon and rooting ourselves in the business!
One of my main goals is to help members in my community enjoy their dogs the way that I do Remë and Row. However, that is often challenging when your beloved fur-family companion has naughty tendencies!!
I can help teach your dog how to walk respectfully on a leash so that you enjoy walks together, aid in improving your pup’s behavior in the home, and provide your dog a healthy outlet for his boundless energy all while growing the bond between you and your dog!
Currently I am offering a package that includes basic obedience (sit, down, stay, come, impulse control, leave it, and focus), loose leash walking, and off leash training (recall, automatic check-ins). I will also help owners solve specific issues affecting their everyday life. (*Read disclaimer at the bottom of the page*)
For the first few sessions, I would like build a connection and respect with your dog. These sessions will be just your pup and me so that I can establish a strong foundation for the remainder of the training.
Once your dog is mastering these behaviors, I would like to have additional sessions including the owner to teach you how to communicate and handle your dog in various situations! Setting your dog up for success also means making sure that the handler has all the knowledge needed to direct their pup!
If you would like, I also offer a dog walking and exercising package! Before or after a training session, I am able to provide your dog with a lengthy walk at $15 dollars per 30 minutes of a walk or exercise.
I also offer pet sitting and house sitting after school hours and on the weekends! My availability opens up during breaks!
Sitting is $40 dollars a day. Over night pet sitting is $60 (24 hours). Exercise is included with your sitting charge. However, if you’d like me to train, there is an additional training fee!
Training sessions range from 30 minutes to an hour! One 30 minute session is only $15, and an hour is $30! If you have a busy day, don’t worry! I am happy to keep your pup longer or arrange for multiple training sessions for an additional fee. I can make sure your dog is fed, exercised, and is paid the appropriate attention!
