Before you hire The Golden Leash for your pets, here are 5 things we think you should know!
1. Solo, to team based future. Currently you and your pets interact directly with (Rebecca) and as we grow, you’ll eventually get a team held to the same Golden standard. Growth is part of the plan & vision here at The Golden Leash. Every future employee who joins our team will be fully trained personally by me, to the same standard of care I hold myself to.
2. I’m trained for more than walks. Rebecca is a Certified Veterinary Assistant Level 1 (CVA1), and is also pet first aid & CPR certified, I am equipped to handle more than just walks, by providing medication administration and subcutaneous fluids for dogs with medical needs. Trust to me isn’t just about who has access to your home, it’s about who’s actually qualified to step in if something isn’t routine.
3. A lockbox or keypad is part of how we keep things simple. We ask very client to set up a lockbox with keys inside before we start services. This means no spare keys have to change hands, no more scrambling if plans shift or change last minute, and one less thing for either of us to worry about. It’s a small step that makes reliable pet care possible, and the safety of your home.
4. Routine is key for your dog, it’s how they thrive. A consistent schedule gives dogs more than exercise. It gives them structure, mental stimulation, socialization and something to look forward to regularly. We don’t just stop by to let your dog out and then bounce, we’re here to be a steady part of their day everyday!
5. We operate by the Golden Rule. We live and breathe by the principle: “(Luke 6:31) Treat others how you want to be treated.” The Golden Leash was inspired by my own beloved Golden Retriever, Dakota and is the reason I am so passionate about this business, while treating others well. Every client both human and animal served by The Golden Leash gets the patience and attention I’d want for my own pets, no exceptions!
