This photo is so much more than just a Christmas memory. That’s me, Amanda—founder of Raise The Woof—sitting with Santa and my childhood dog, Penny. Penny is one of the reasons my journey into dog training began. She was a good dog with some big behaviors, and growing up with her taught me that dogs don’t need labels… they need understanding, patience, and the right training.

Because of Penny, I learned to see the dog behind the behavior—and that belief is at the heart of everything we do at Raise The Woof.

🎓🐾 Congratulations to sweet Lilly on earning her doggie diploma! This 4-year-old Aussie came to us with some anxiety and leash walking struggles, and after 9 sessions she has made huge progress. She now walks calmly on a loose leash, handles her triggers with so much more confidence, has better recall, and even learned to relax on her spot when things feel overwhelming.

None of this would have been possible without the incredible dedication of her pawrents—they put in the time, love, and consistency that truly made the difference. 💕 I (Amanda) absolutely LOVED working with this family and am so grateful for their thoughtful “thank you” gift. I’ll miss seeing them every week, but this isn’t goodbye—it’s “see you later!” 🐶✨

🎉 Huge congratulations to Bonnie The Doodle and her parents for completing their training program with Raise The Woof! 🐾✨

Over the past couple of months, they have learned how to communicate more clearly with Bonnie, making life at home more peaceful and fun for everyone. They’ve practiced cooperative grooming, worked on socializing her, and have picked up calming techniques to help manage her anxiety.

Not only has their bond with Bonnie grown stronger, but her older brother is also feeling much more comfortable with his new little sister—she’s learning not to bug him like she used to! 😄💕

We’re so proud of the progress they’ve made and can’t wait to see how far they continue to go. Way to go, Bonnie and fam! 👏🐶

I am throughly impressed with how well Graham gets around at his age. This handsome chocolate boy is 15 years old! He makes me so proud. We even jogged part of the trail we went to! Motion is lotion; get out there and exercise your dog so they can live a long happy life like Graham has! 🫶🏼

Aren’t they the sweetest little trio!! Congratulations to the Olivier’s on completing their training program! Leila was so fun to work with! They did our 6 session Furbaby Fundamentals program and Leila learned manners with guests, kennel training, leash walking, recall training, leave it, drop it and more. I look forward to hearing more about her training journey!
