Kamar Arabians

Took Serr Rouge Kamar 2016 CS (Mahr Rou x Moulin Rouge Rou) to his first under saddle show today. While it was just a schooling show, he exceeded all of our expectations. In huge classes, he ribboned in every single one. Got a 5th in the English pleasure open, a 3rd in the novice horse, and a 4th in the championship class. We then went back in for a short trail class where he got 2nd! I love this horse!

He's only about 100 days under saddle, and I've come a long way since the accident, so I'm thrilled with how today went!

We would like to announce our new acquisition of Mahr Rou, AHA 604451, a chestnut Straight Babson Egyptian Arabian stallion. He will be standing at public stud and siring babies for us for years to come!

Our own Kahlidah Kamar Rou has won this award two years in a row behind the same Grand Champion! Congrats to her and we look forward to many more years of success!

Our Reserve Champion in the Open and Recognized Division is the lovely Straight Babson Egyptian mare Kahlidah Kamar Rou owned, trained and shown by Brittany Bartlett of Kamar Arabians.

Kahlidah Kamar Rou has also amassed a considerable list of awards from other groups.

It is really wonderful to see these Desert Arabians competing so successfully with horses of all breeds at high levels and it is especially rewarding for our Champion and Reserve Champion to be totally trained and presented by their amateur owners.

We had a good show. Kahli earned 9 points towards her Legion of Honor/Merit. Her high score of the show was a 64%. Manley scored a high score of 64% and earned 7 points.
