We don’t know about y’all but this summer feels hotter than usual! 😅 As temperatures continue to rise, it’s important to remember that our pets are much more vulnerable to the heat than we are.

🚨 Signs of heat stroke include:
🐾 Excessive panting
🐾 Drooling
🐾 Bright red or pale gums
🐾 Weakness or stumbling
🐾 Vomiting or diarrhea
🐾 Confusion or collapse
🐾 Seizures

☀️ Help prevent heat stroke by:
✅ Providing plenty of fresh, cool water
✅ Keeping pets indoors during the hottest part of the day
✅ Walking dogs early in the morning or after sunset
✅ Making sure they always have access to shade
✅ Avoiding hot pavement that can burn paws
✅ Never leaving a pet in a parked car—even with the windows cracked

⚠️ If you suspect heat stroke:
Move your pet to a cool area immediately, offer small amounts of cool (not ice-cold) water and use cool, wet towels on their paws, belly and neck while heading to the nearest veterinary clinic. Heat stroke is a medical 🆘 emergency 🆘 and every minute counts.

A little extra caution can save a life. Please help keep your furry family members safe this summer! ❤️🐶🐱

Hello everyone! Tomorrow is supposed to be extremely hot with high humidity! I highly recommend skipping tomorrow’s walks for your pets even if your pet does daily walks.
