🐾💕 Princess & Pawliday Litter Update 💕🐾
Happy Thursday, everyone! We wanted to give everyone a little update on our sweet Princess. 👑🐶
Princess has had a rough couple of days with some pretty persistent vomiting, so we took her back to the veterinarian today to make sure mama and babies were doing okay.
We’re happy to share some good news! 🥹❤️ Her bloodwork looked reassuring overall. Her kidney values, liver values, blood sugar, electrolytes, red blood cells, and platelets were all within the lab’s listed normal ranges. Her white blood cell count and neutrophils were elevated, along with a couple of other minor elevations, but thankfully the veterinarian was able to send us home to continue caring for her. 🐾
And most importantly… our little Pawliday babies were checked today and they were healthy and active! 🐶🐶🐶💕 Seeing those babies moving around was exactly what we needed!
Princess was given ondansetron, an anti-nausea medication, at the vet and was also sent home with 8 mg ondansetron tablets to help control the vomiting and nausea. She is now resting peacefully, eating small, light meals, and taking it easy. ❤️
Her last medication was at 7 PM, and so far—NO MORE VOMITING! 🙌🏽🎉 We are hoping this means our girl’s stomach is finally settling down and that tonight will be a peaceful night of much-needed rest.
For now, the assignment is simple: rest, medicine, little meals, lots of love, and absolutely NO Princess foolishness. 😂👑
Thank you to everybody who has been checking on our girl and sending love her way. Mama Princess and the Happy Pawliday’s F1 Standard Merle Goldendoodle babies are getting some rest tonight. 🎃🦃🎄🐾
Goodnight from Princess & her little Pawliday crew! 👑🐾❤️
