Hermie traveling to his forever home!

Hermie is now home and we couldn't be happier for him. He will be living on 15 acres in the country with his brother and sister dogs, as well as beautiful Ben, the horse.

His new mom is an amazing lady who absolutely loves her babies. He will be well cared for without a doubt.

Did you know that in addition to our rescues, we provide rabies vaccinations to dogs belonging to Hot Springs homeless residents? Twice a year, one of our local veterinarians goes to the Homeless care facility to provide these dogs with this necessary vaccination!

I'm Bobo. I was abandoned by my family and left to fend for myself for several weeks. My original owners sadly tied me up and left me while they took their other dogs and moved out of state.

Bobo was thankfully saved after nearly starving to death. Bobo was diagnosed as heavy heartworm positive. After successfully completing ALL his treatments, he is now Heartworm-negative! He is fully vetted and ready for a home.

All of this, and he still hasn't found a family to truly love him the way he deserves. Can you imagine going through a majority of your life not knowing love? We know someone is out there to love this lazy lug.

Hermie is fully vetted, has been given his Proheart 6 shot, and has an updated rabies vaccine. He is an Australian Shepherd. He had been at Animal Services for almost a full month. Overlooked, forgotten, and confused.

As you can tell by looking at him, he is completely deaf. He was living in a world of so much going on around him and lost in his world of silence. He would approach people at the front of his kennel when they came in, yet they would walk right past him.
Monday, our super foster, Charlene, didn't walk past him; she loaded him up! Hermie is young, fun, and loves other dogs. He is sociable, smart, and even knows the commands sit and lie down, despite his disability. He deserves a loving, caring, and welcoming home.

Meet Toffee. Weighing in at 38 pounds, this sweet lab mix girl was abandoned when her Dad ran from the PD during a welfare check. Animal Services took the animals off the streets, and super foster Charlene couldn't pass her up. We don't know much about her yet, as she is settling into her new foster home. We do know she was living with other dogs and puppies.

Edit 07/30/2026: Toffee is now spayed, up to date on all her vaccines (including rabies), and on heartworm preventative medication! She's ready for her forever home!

Vegas, our silent, sweet deaf little lady, is still in foster care. It's now been over one year since she looked like the first photo. Emaciated, mistreated, disposed of like trash, and wanting so badly to be loved. Y'all, this girl is amazing and just keeps getting overlooked. Her foster mom reports she's been the best girl, sleeps solid and loves deeply. She deserves a forever home.

Vegas has fought through SO much. We want her to find the best home. She has tested well with MOST dogs. She currently cohabitates with dogs, fowl, and felines in her current foster home. She is loving, treat-motivated, and gets the zoomie-zooms when she's happy. We suggest a home with older children who she can cuddle with and play with as she zooms around.

She communicates through signs and a vibrate collar. Vegas is smart, fully trained and fully vetted.
