Sometimes a drop-in is a potty break. Sometimes it’s a game of fetch, a cuddle session, a little pep talk, or convincing someone that yes, they really do need to come back inside. 😂🐾

I love that no two visits are exactly the same. I follow each pet’s routine, but I also make sure they get the attention and companionship they need while their people are away. ❤️

It’s never just checking something off a list. They’re getting their time while I’m there. 🥰

Who needs the treat broken into pieces. Who has a VERY specific potty spot. Who wants nonstop attention and who would prefer that I admire them from across the room. 😂

They all have their own little routines and personalities, and honestly, that's half the fun of getting to know them. ❤️

One of my favorite things about pet sitting is getting to keep pets comfortable in their own space, with their own beds, favorite spots, routines, and all the little things they're used to while their people are away.

Plus, I get to be the temporary best friend until their REAL favorite people come home. 😂❤️

🐾 Watch you through the window?
🐾 Could not care less because they know you’ll eventually come back? 😂

My friend/client reached out to me about Karl, who has been missing since September 18. 💔🐾

Karl is missing from the Gould St. / Dininny Pl. / Windsor Ave. neighborhood area in Elmira. He is very friendly, knows his way home, and may be scared or injured.

If you live nearby, please check your garages, sheds, porches, under decks, and around your property in case Karl found somewhere to hide.

Look at these two gorgeous faces. 😍🐾

Mia & Lincoln don't actually need me until December, but I've already been making trips out to Bath to see them. Their mom booked way ahead of time and had the best idea. Once a month, I stop over for about half an hour just to hang out, play ball, give them some attention and let them get to know me.

By the time December comes around, I won't be some random stranger suddenly showing up at their house. They'll already know exactly who I am and hopefully associate me with attention, playtime and lots of tennis balls. 😂🎾

I came out for my September visit today and HAD to share these pictures. Mia is absolutely beautiful, and Lincoln's dark sable coloring gets me every time. 😍 I mean… LOOK AT HIM.
