Good morning,
Wild At Heart is temporarily pausing all intake. We have vet bills due and we have animals in our care that need vetting. I have been asked why I use North Star as they are pricey. I use them when I do not have funds available to go to a cheaper vet. I use Cherry with them as I am not eligible for any other credit. Here is where Wild At Heart Stands right now with vet bills owed.

I owe almost $400 on my direct account with North Star for Brutus. If you would like to call the vet directly to pay towards that North Stars phone number is (910)858-2525.

911 funds urgently needed two kittens one barely hanging on enroute to points east closes emergency vet

These two unknown babies need your help. We are currently at Points East Veterinary Emergency Hospital of Fayetteville however they do not allow donations to be called in. They were found lethargic and cold. I've paid $600 so far for the emergency walk back. They are warming them up. They are currently responding. Every life big or small deserves a chance.

Let's talk about Satin Balls

Satin balls have been around long before I was born in a way but essentially credit was given in 1996 to Diana Carreona who fed them to her show dogs. Before they were given the name people still used them however the ingredients were a little different. They are used for working dogs and severely emaciated dogs. They help put weight on very quickly as they are high in calories. All ingredients are raw and uncooked.
Yes, it is true rapid weight gain or loss is not good for anyone including animals however some animals really benefit from the satin balls as it entices their appetite to make them want to eat after being starved.
When I use them I don't ever do more than 2 in a day and never longer than a week. I use it kinda like someone would use nutrical or dyne. If anyone has any more questions please comment here and I will answer once I finish this batch. I'm restocking my freezer with them as Summer time rescues normally get hit really hard with emaciated dogs.

Satin Balls Recipe

1 large box Total cereal (about 12 cups cereal)

1 large box uncooked oatmeal (about 15 cups oats)

1 15oz jar wheat germ

10 packages Knox unflavored gelatin

Pinch of salt

1 1/4 cup flax seed oil, coconut oil or vegetable oil

1 1/4 cup unsulfured molasses

10 raw eggs

10 lbs. cheap hamburger (high fat %)

Place the balls/patties into bags and freeze them. Since they are served raw, thaw them individually when you are ready to serve them.

Strong winds can create unexpected dangers for our pets. Please take a few extra minutes to keep them safe.

✔️ Check all gates & fences
Make sure they are secure — high winds can knock things over and push gates open.

✔️ Limit unattended outdoor time
Please don’t leave dogs outside unattended for long periods during high winds.

✔️ Leash walks = tight hold
Sudden noises and blowing debris can startle pets. Keep a firm grip on the leash.

✔️ Collars & ID tags on
Ensure your pet is wearing a collar with updated owner information.

✔️ Microchip info up to date
If your pet is microchipped, double-check that your contact details on file are accurate.

🌬️ High winds increase the risk of pets escaping.

Let's Talk about Golden Paste

Golden paste is a holistic, digestible supplement for dogs made from turmeric, coconut oil, and black pepper. It's intended to be a natural remedy for inflammation and overall health.

Ingredients: Turmeric, coconut oil, and black pepper.

Benefits: May help with inflammation, skin irritation, gut health, pain, diarrhea, heart and liver function, and seasonal allergies.

How to make it: Combine turmeric and water in a pan and stir over low heat until it thickens into a paste, which can take 7–10 minutes. Add the oil and pepper after cooking and stir well.

How to store it: Keep in a sealed jar in the fridge for up to two weeks.

How to give it to your dog: Mix ½–1 tablespoon into your dog's food with 1/4 cup of warm water, bone broth, or kefir. Most dogs don't mind the taste. Start off with a very small amount and work your way up

1/4 cup organic powdered turmeric (do not use raw turmeric)
