Another week in the books and every stop reminded us why we love this job!

Buddy Dewayne had a dental cleaning and got to rest and recover on his own couch, no crate, no car ride. A few nervous dogs walked us through their front door like old friends. Bravery comes easier at home. Bantam and Scout gave us the toughest goodbye of the week. Tails would not stop when we packed up to leave. Joe the kitten wrapped up his kitten visits with a treat break and snuggles with his favorite person to celebrate.

It's been a great and busy week for Trace Crossings Veterinary + Pet Wellness! Monday afternoon, Dr. Miller spoke at WVC Nashville, one of the largest veterinary conferences in the country, about why mobile veterinary care matters in a changing industry.

Tuesday, she drove back to Hoover and went right back to work. This week was filled with dental cleanings, new puppy and kitten visits, sick pet visits, and checkups on old friends across Hoover.

Dr. Miller is headed to Nashville to speak at WVC Nashville, one of veterinary medicine's biggest conferences and its first year in the Music City!

She will be sharing with veterinary professionals from across the country about the shift toward mobile practice, house call care, and why this model matters to families and their pets.

We will be closed Monday, August 17 and Tuesday, August 18 while she is away but will reopen Wednesday, August 19.

The bus pulled away this morning and the house went quiet. Your dog stayed at the window, still watching for backpacks due home at 3 o'clock.

School starting means a new season for your whole house, pets included. Mornings shift earlier. Naps stretch longer. Summer energy settles into a quiet living room the second the backpacks head out the door.

Summer meant someone was home all day: kids in and out, snacks dropped on the floor, constant company.
