💙 Small rescue. Big responsibilities. And a hard truth to share.
Asking for money is one of the hardest parts of rescue. We try not to ask too often, because we know everyone has bills, responsibilities, and struggles of their own.
But we need to be honest: right now, we don’t have enough funding to meet all the needs of the animals already in our care. Without support from our followers and friends, we cannot continue saving lives.
MAD RESCUE TRANSPORT has about 2,000 followers, yet our $15 on the 15th fundraiser receives donations from only about five people. We are deeply grateful for those donors, but that support simply cannot cover food, medical care, spay and neuter surgeries, preventatives, and the everyday needs of the animals here.
We don’t have a paid PR team or the budget to hire people to grow our audience and bring in donations. The same PERSON caring for the dogs are also taking pictures, writing posts, and hoping those posts reach someone who can help.
Larger rescues do meaningful work, and we’re grateful for every animal helped. We just wish more people could see the small rescues, too—the ones quietly doing the daily work with limited resources, trying to make every dollar stretch.
Our audience may be small, but the needs here are real. Food runs out. Vet bills come due. Dogs need surgery before they can move on to forever homes. Their care cannot wait until a post gets enough attention.
We aren’t sharing this to make anyone feel guilty. We’re sharing it because we need you to understand how much your support matters. We cannot do this alone.
If just 100 of our 2,000 followers gave $15, that would be $1,500 toward caring for these animals. You don’t have to wait until the next 15th to help.
If you can donate, please consider giving whatever you can. If you can’t, sharing our posts and inviting friends to follow us helps more people see the dogs who need us.
To those who donate, share, and stand beside us: thank you. You are helping keep this little rescue going—and giving these animals a chance at a better life. 🐾💙
