Registration is now open for our next session of group classes at K9 Training Concepts, beginning the first week of October!

We’ll be offering:

Beginner Obedience – Sundays at 10:00 AM
Rat Hunt – Sundays at 11:30 AM
Advanced Obedience – Sundays at 2:00 PM
Rat Hunt – Sundays at 4:00 PM
Rat Hunt – Tuesdays at 5:30 PM
Our six-week classes are a great way to build skills, improve communication with your dog, and have some fun along the way.

Sunday Class Dates:
October 4, 11 & 25
November 1, 8 & 15

There will be no class on October 18 due to our Annual Service Dog Graduation event.

Tuesday Rat Hunt Dates:
October 6, 13, 20 & 27
November 3 & 10

And for our Rat Hunt students, we have something extra planned this session!

Rat Hunt Mock Trial – Saturday, November 14

Our Mock Trial will be a fun opportunity for you and your dog to put everything you’ve learned during the session to the test in a trial-style setting. It’s a great introduction to what a real Barn Hunt competition feels like, without the pressure of an official trial — and a fun way to finish off the session!

Classes are held at Monkey Tail Ranch in Hollister.

The six-week session is $250 per dog.

Space is limited, so we recommend registering early to reserve your spot.

🐀🏆 BRAG ALERT! 🏆🐀

Our Rat Hunt classes are becoming so popular, so of course we have to brag about our students!

Huge congratulations to Suke, who has attended our last two Rat Hunt sessions and just competed in his very first Barn Hunt trial at K9 Rat Pack.

Not only did Suke have an absolute blast, he earned his Barn Hunt Novice title! 🎉🐾 We love seeing our students take what they’ve learned in class out into competition — and clearly Suke understood the assignment!

And of course, trainer Kaylee couldn’t just go to a Barn Hunt trial and watch. 😂 She brought Cinder and Trigger, and they had a pretty spectacular weekend too!

Trigger
• 2 First Place Master B passes
• Master B High in Class
• A REMX run — completing his pass in under 2 minutes, 30 seconds
• A Double Q medal for passing both of his runs on the same day!

Cinder
• 2 First Place Novice passes
• A Double Q medal for passing both runs on the same day
• Earned her RATNX title — 10 B-level passes on top of her 3 A-level passes!

For those new to Barn Hunt: A-level runs are for dogs who haven’t earned their title in that class yet. Once they earn the title and continue competing at that same level, their runs become B-level runs.

We are so proud of our Beginning Obedience class!

Today, they completed six weeks of training, and the progress of every team was so impressive.

Even better, every dog and handler passed their AKC Canine Good Citizen test!

Congratulations to all of our teams. Your hard work, consistency, and dedication paid off. Mikey, Sadie, Penny, Bruno, Darcy, and Nola. We are all so proud of all of you!

We’re thrilled to announce that our very own Christina, a professional groomer since 2015, will now be offering baths for dogs while they’re here at K9TC!

🛁 Bath only, no grooming starts at $75
📅 Currently available Thursdays & Sundays

Dog goes home tired, happy, AND smelling significantly less like they spent the day making questionable choices at a ranch.

Because sometimes the best part of a ranch day is leaving the ranch smell… at the ranch.
