Backpack mounts are popular around here! 🦌 🎒

These backpack mounts were recently put together and are now on the drying wall awaiting their final finishing touches. Soon they’ll be complete and heading off to their forever homes.

Looking for something a little different than a traditional shoulder mount? A backpack mount might be for you. As you can see from these four, each style varies — and a few small details tailored to the owner’s requests can make every mount truly unique.

European mounts were a popular choice in the 2025 season, and we’ve been working tirelessly to get these beauties finished and back to their owners. A Euro mount is a timeless, lower-cost option that showcases your deer’s natural character and antler detail — a sharp, space-friendly alternative to a shoulder mount.

Do the plaques in the photo catch your eye? Ask us about upgrading your Euro mount with a handmade plaque crafted right here in our shop!

This is Kenzie’s SECOND full-body turkey mount, and this one is extra special to our family.🎆

Her sister & dad harvested this unique four-bearded turkey a few years back and held onto it, adamant that one day Kenzie would mount it — whether she went to taxidermy school or not.

Well, they got their wish! Kenzie absolutely knocked this one out of the park and exceeded every expectation (and I think really enjoyed herself while mounting it😉). The detail, the dedication, the talent — we couldn’t be prouder. And honestly, the pictures don’t even do it justice. 👀

Sometimes it’s more than a mount — it’s a memory, a promise kept, and a proud moment all wrapped into one. We just had to show this one off! 🦃👏

💥We had to brag about this one!💥

The mom of a young boy - who caught the perch fishing & was a caring owner to the Jackson County Fair special, a gold fish named Big Mac - approached us about doing a mount with both of these fish for her son for Christmas. Kenzie was able to fulfill the wishes & brought these beautiful fish back to life. This is Kenzie’s first fish display out the door since completing the fish course at school & with the look of these two, we are excited to see what else she has in store! 👏🏼

It’s mid October and you know what that means - the team is busy at work with all the harvests coming in from our loyal customers!! You may notice things look a bit different around here & that’s because we have officially moved into the new shop! While it’s still a work in progress, we look forward to showing you our space when you bring your harvests in.

For any deer harvest this fall, the combined dream team of Kenzie & Chris will be offering shoulder mounts and Austin will be offering European mounts.

A reminder that Kenzie will be offering bird, small game and fish services! If you have any questions regarding our services don’t hesitate to reach out.
