This furrow weaver has been at our front door hard at work all summer long, she is more than earned her keep with all of her friends for help as I have zero flies from the horses!
We love natural pest control! 🖤

Furrow weavers are nocturnal making their webs at night so we've had to be careful not to disturb her while she does an amazing job as her web covers our entire doorway! 🌹

She allows the morning dew to accumulate on her web in the early morning hours before ingesting her web reabsorbing moisture and recycling proteins and amino acids!
🕸️ 🕷️ Sometimes when I walk through the front door in the daytime I still duck not realizing she's tucked away until nightfall!
