For those located in Rochester or out by Canandaigua, I’m selling unsorted rabbit fertilizer. $10 per bag and each bag has a minimum 20 pounds inside. Great fuel to give your garden that boost it needs.

The rabbits did great today at the Cattaraugus County RBA show!

Lei from Twin Barns Rabbitry got BOB for both show A and show B today! And Roger from Krystle Runkle got BOSB in Show B! So thankful to have this pair in my barn. I can’t wait to see how they contribute to my future programs❤️

With Easter approaching it’s time for our yearly advisory on purchasing a rabbit for Easter.

80% of rabbits purchased for Easter are either dead or rehomed in the first year.

That’s every 4 out of 5 bunnies.

Some are abandoned outdoors where they eventually die. Others are turned into shelters or rehomed once they outgrow their novelty. Some die due to a lack of proper care.

They’re not a temporary holiday gift. They’re a 10-12 year commitment and require research before getting one. So with Easter on approach keep that in mind.

And please remember, I do not sell rabbits the week before, during, or the week after Easter for this reason. Thank you for understanding and have a great holiday!

Of course my rabbits Diamond and Bubbles had their babies 30 minutes after I left for my rabbit show. But it seems like they did everything alright without me😂

Anyone else ever realize they messed up with their due dates? 5 out of 6 does left to labor and they’re all due tonight or tomorrow, plus there’s a rabbit show I’m going to tomorrow as well. Thank goodness I have people willing to check on my does while I’m out😂 Next time I’ll need to check my calendar before breeding for sure.

Our holland lop litter is starting to grow hair! So cute! And surprise! Remember the one that I thought had bruising on its face? Not bruising but instead a very unique little patch of gray skin!

They’re so cute!

I came home from a long day at work to find that Lily had babies. Of course she waited until I was gone to have them. There’s 4 total, all healthy!

Needless to say I gave her an extra treat after this video. She earned it.
