8/9/26: "I took Harold out today to have a meet-and-greet with two different potential adopters. Harold was very easy to leash and greeted me immediately at the front of his kennel. He walks very slowly and preferred it when we all walked in front of him.
He loved pets and would nudge his head into our hands for more snuggles. He also loved scratches and would wiggle with a slow low wagging tail when we scratched his back or ears. He leashed up easily again to go inside and went in his kennel with no issues." - MAS Staff Member

‼️Statement from Critical Memphis Page Admins:
We are Not the shelter. We are networkers. Our page raises pledges to help 501c3 rescues that pull urgent dogs from MAS. If you pledge on a dog, once a MAS approved 501c3 pet placement partner (rescue) commits and pulls the dog that you pledged for, we put donors and rescue into a group message. You will then donate directly to that rescue - for that particular dog.
If the dog is adopted (or sadly, euthanized) no pledges are collected.
🫶🏼Thank you for helping to fight for these lives. Every share, message, and action matters.
