Fingers felt with everything going on and the world feeling kinda heavy right now, we needed to do some more good in our community. We had an idea and we are RUNNING with it!
What do we need?
*We are looking for gently used or new adult clothes and shoes. All sizes (2x and up very needed), all seasons!!
*new unopened mens and women’s underwear/socks.
*shampoo (2n1s are great), men’s/womens body wash, cologne/purfume (NO AEROSOL), poofs or loofas.
*sugar free pudding snacks, individually packed unsweetened applesauce, or other diabetic treats.
*money so we can purchase things to fill in the gaps.
Our plan for all this?
A closet filled with a variety of clothes and shoes that’s big enough for each resident at a local nursing home to be able to “shop” at!! We would LOVE if each resident would be able to pick out 2 new outfits and shop for their body wash, smelly good sprays, deodorant, and enjoy a few snacks. Totally free of charge. No strings attached for them or their families. Just some people who want to spread a little love and joy to those who may need it most.
We will collect items from 4/15-5/15. We are working on the date for our shopping spree and will post it as soon as we have it nailed down.
