Ghost meets you at the gate every single day. He is a genuinely curious soul and wants to be around people! With a lighter made frame he is extremely athletic and has covered miles upon miles of big and rough country. He is fearless outside and will go through tall brush, woods, across rivers, creeks and bogs, and over any dead fall or rocky trails. This horse is EXTREMELY sure footed and takes care of himself and his rider. Ghost has roped and tagged piles of calves, and has pasture doctored yearlings and loaded cattle into the trailer. He will hold a rope while you doctor and you can drags calves to the fire or head and heel in the branding pen on him. In the arena Ghost as headed and heeled a handful of steers. He has been in a parade and been an outrider for our ranches' Clydesdale team. He is not buddy sour and rides out alone or with large groups of riders. This gelding stands to be bathed, groomed, saddled, and bridled. I have blow dried him a few times and also clipped his face and ears. He handles all of it extremely well even when it's new to him. He trailers great, has worn fly sheets and blankets, and stands for fly spray and for kids running around on bikes and on foot. He is a very very neat gelding with an extremely pleasant personality. We have had one of our sons ride him in the arena and outside before with zero issues. But Ghost is not for a child or a beginner, as he requires lunging before riding.
