We are looking for a Front Desk Receptionist – Dog Boarding Facility
We are looking for a friendly, dependable Front Desk Receptionist to join our team at a busy dog boarding/daycare facility. This position is perfect for someone who loves animals, enjoys working with people, and can stay organized in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities include:
- Greeting clients and checking pets in/out for boarding, daycare, grooming, and training
- Answering phone calls, messages, and emails
- Scheduling reservations and appointments
- Taking payments and updating client/pet information
- Communicating clearly with pet owners about services, requirements, and updates
- Keeping the front desk/lobby clean and organized
- Assisting kennel staff when needed
- Following facility policies and safety procedures
Ideal candidate will have:
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Good organization and multitasking abilities
- Comfort working around dogs and cats of all sizes and temperaments
- Basic computer skills
- A positive attitude and team-player mindset
- Reliability and punctuality
- Previous animal care, receptionist, or customer service experience is a plus, but not required
Requirements:
- Must be able to stand, walk, and move throughout the facility as needed
- Must be comfortable in a loud, active environment
- Saturday 8-3 availability required
