Good evening!
We have had a pretty eventful last week at Earthly Creatures and it is going to affect our hours and availability for the next few months.
Last Wednesday, Dr. Senior's mom (Marilee) was in a car accident when a much larger vehicle decided to make an illegal left turn into her car. She was pretty severely injured with several broken bones and abrasions. She also had 3 dogs in the car, but they have all mostly recovered.
Marilee, however, has been in the hospital enduring several surgeries, transfusions, and medical management since the accident. Due to this, Dr. Senior is spending as much time as possible with her at the hospital and not able to see emergencies or add ins at this time. Dr. Senior's husband was able to come home for a short time from his military assignment in Washington to help, but that is only for this week, so main care and handling is still solo with some incredible help and support from Lauren and several other friends.
For the next several weeks to months we will be shortening hours, so we get done at 4 and can get wrapped up to be able to do farm chores and still see Marilee at a decent hour. We will see emergencies and add-ins as able but they may be limited and clients may have to find other accommodations during this time.
