Early Morning Thoughts of a Rescuer:

Every so often I Google the rescue, just to see what it has to say. It never disappoints. Last week, it said we were controversial because of our Special Needs Dogs. To be fair, some people truly don't believe that a physically imperfect but happy dog should be allowed to live. Sometimes we just have have to feel bad for people when they're wrong but loudly confident. This morning, Google said we're ranked to 4 in the COUNTRY. You guys, we're just tiny, plugging away and making a difference where we can. I can promise you that we're NOT in the top 4 but it still made me smile. To the dogs we save, we're #1 and that's what really matters.

What does the day hold? Dogs, gardening and maybe a run to Fleet Farm. Duct tape no longer holds my W**d Wacker together.

A last word...after going viral a couple times last month, facebook is being stingy about putting us in people's feeds. If you're not seeing much of us, just visit the page directly. Such is life on social media!

Have you been watching Wuffda's progress? He has neurological effects from a virus that nearly killed him. Recovery takes a long time but we can see his progression over the last 6 weeks!
