We're counting down the last warm fall days up at Stormy Peaks Ranch and watching the snow collect on the distant mountain peaks. 🏔️

Winter is coming soon!

A little morning training session with Secret. 🐴

He did great working with the burlap sack and, true to form, was very curious about the whole thing.

This special boy is now starting the search for his new home.

Secret is getting ready for his next chapter. 💛

Born May 24, Secret is now just over four months old and approaching weaning age. As we begin that process, we’re also starting the search for the right home for him.

Secret is Mystic’s c**t and has been well socialized here at Stormy Peaks Ranch. He’s currently working on halter training and making good progress. We believe he is Arabian or Arabian-cross.

Mystic will be staying with us permanently, but Secret is ready to begin finding his own person and future.

Secret is a private placement rather than an RMMFR rescue horse, but 100% of his placement fee will be donated to Rocky Mountain Mare & Foal Rescue to help us continue rescuing and caring for mares and foals in need.

Please feel free to share and help us find the right home for this special little guy.

Sometimes the broken road leads to the gentlest little hello.

Secret got to meet a new friend, and it was one of those sweet reminders of why rescue matters. Trust takes time, but moments like this are a beautiful start. 💛

The boys were getting some halter training with our founder/president Leslie and treasurer Kathy.

Secret is not so sure about the whole thing yet, but Stormy is taking to it pretty well. Baby steps, boys. 🐴

Spirit may be little, but the s***k is full-sized. 💛

This sweet boy was showing off his personality, his confidence, and just a little bit of sass.
