🐶 New Puppy? Here’s What You Need to Know About Treats! 🦴”

Bringing home a puppy is so exciting, but did you know that not all treats are safe for young pups? Here’s how to treat your little one the right way:

✅ Start Small – Puppies have tiny tummies! Use small, soft treats that are easy to chew and digest.
✅ Choose Healthy Ingredients – Avoid artificial additives, fillers, and too much sugar—natural is best!
✅ Use Treats for Training – Puppies learn fast! Reward good behavior with tasty, high-value treats to reinforce positive habits.
✅ Don’t Overdo It – Treats should be fun, but they should never replace balanced puppy food.

At Hoosier Good Boy, our all-natural treats are made with simple, wholesome ingredients—perfect for training and rewarding your growing good boy (or girl)! 🐾

🚫 3 Human Foods That Are Surprisingly Bad for Dogs! 🚫🐶”

We all love spoiling our pups, but some “harmless” human foods can actually be dangerous for them. Here are three you might not expect:

❌ Grapes & Raisins – Even a small amount can cause kidney failure in dogs. No one knows exactly why, but it’s best to avoid them completely.

❌ Onions & Garlic – These can damage your dog’s red blood cells, leading to anemia. Even small amounts over time can be harmful!

❌ Macadamia Nuts – These nuts can cause weakness, vomiting, and even tremors in dogs. Stick to dog-safe nuts like peanuts (unsalted & xylitol-free!).

At Hoosier Good Boy, we believe in safe, all-natural treats made just for dogs—so you never have to worry about harmful ingredients. ❤️🐾

How Often Should You Give Your Dog Treats? 🦴🐶”

We know—it’s so hard to resist those puppy-dog eyes! But how many treats are too many? Here’s a simple rule to follow:

✅ Treats should make up no more than 10% of your dog’s daily calories.
✅ For training, break treats into smaller pieces to keep your pup motivated without overfeeding.
✅ Choose high-quality, natural treats (like Hoosier Good Boy!) to support their health while rewarding them.

With wholesome ingredients and no fillers, our treats are a snack you can feel good about giving! How often do you treat your pup? Let us know in the comments! ⬇️

Why Do Dogs Love Peanut Butter So Much? 🥜🐶”

Ever wonder why dogs go crazy for peanut butter? Here’s why:

🐾 It’s Packed with Protein & Healthy Fats – Keeps your pup’s energy up and coat shiny!

🐾 The Sticky Texture = Fun – It sticks to their tongue, making it an interactive (and hilarious) snack.

🐾 It’s Just Plain Delicious! – Dogs have taste buds for fats and proteins, so PB hits the spot.

At Hoosier Good Boy, we use 100% natural peanut butter in our treats—no added sugar, salt, or harmful xylitol. Just the good stuff your pup loves!

Tell us: Does your dog go wild for PB? Drop a 🥜 in the comments if they do! ⬇️

3 Ingredients to Watch Out for in Dog Treats! 🐾🚫”

Not all dog treats are created equal! At Hoosier Good Boy, we believe your pup deserves the best—so here are 3 common ingredients found in store-bought treats that you might want to avoid:

❌ Artificial Preservatives (BHA & BHT) – These chemicals help treats last longer on shelves but have been linked to health concerns in dogs.

❌ Artificial Colors & Flavors – Your pup doesn’t care if their treat is neon orange! Artificial dyes and flavors can cause allergies and digestive issues.

❌ Fillers Like Corn, Wheat, & Soy – These cheap fillers add bulk but offer little nutritional value and can trigger food sensitivities.

That’s why every Hoosier Good Boy treat is made with real, natural ingredients—no junk, just wholesome goodness your dog will love. Because your good boy (or girl) deserves the best! 🐶❤️
