There is a special freedom flight in motion tonight, and everyone is smiling with pure joy πŸ₯Ή.

Pixy who was rescued with 3 of her siblings a year ago, is finally heading to her furever home with an amazing family!
What makes this adoption extra special, is she will be reunited with her sister Nabi ( fka Pez ) to live together, furever πŸ₯Ή.

Nabi has opened up and blossomed beautifully showing her quirky, adorable personality thanks to the patience, love, and compassion from her family. We know Pixy will feel just as safe, loved and adored by them too πŸ₯Ή. We are so excited for their first meeting, but most of all, for them to take on all the happy days and make happy memories together with their wonderful family.

A very special boy is on his freedom flight right now, and our hearts are bursting with joy πŸ’ž!

Rowan was dumped at the kill shelter at barely 4 months old with skin issues and severely matted fur. He was in pretty bad shape when we rescued him, but was given the medical care he needed, and the love he very much deserved.

Rowan also ended up needing surgery while in our care. Despite the challenges he faced, he started every day with a smile and continued to wish for a furever home πŸ₯Ή.
The foster mom and volunteers gave him extra love and care to ensure his recovery went smooth and his spirit remained bright πŸ₯Ή! They made sure he went to all his vet appointments and did all his exercises to stay strong.

During the time of his recovery, while he worked so hard to heal,
A very incredible family near and dear to us, heard his wish from afar.

This wonderful family of his have adopted 2 dogs from us and we feel so blessed that Rowan was picked to be their third πŸ₯Ή.

Benny is a Donggyeongi dog. The Donggyeongi breed is an ancient, rare, and endangered dog breed native to South Korea. There are only about 600 left. Donggyeongi Dogs have a natural, unique bob tail.

Benny was rescued from the Buyeo Dog Meat Truck on July 17, 2019. He was 10 months old. He has been with us for over 7 years. He is gentle, shy, timid but longing for love. He has made some strides along the way, but is needing a loving, patient, compassionate family that will be able to give him the time and space for him to open up and trust again. He needs a family that understands his trauma and gives him the space to heal. A family that will show him that no one will ever hurt him again. Since Benny relies on other dogs for comfort and guidance, he will need a gentle, friendly dog sibling that will help him navigate through his fears as well.

Benny is special and while Benny may never be a lap dog or a needy dog, he has a radiant heart and has endured so much. He is a brave, loyal boy and all we want for him is to live out the rest of his life happy and loved.
Sadly he does not have many years left. There must be a family out there that is willing to take him in and love him for who he is. *Because of his age, his adoption donation fee will be heavily discounted. We just want this boy to have a place to call home.

It’s a beautiful day for 2 lucky babies to go home!

Blueberry, our little brindle, cutie that was rescued hours away from euthanasia at the kill shelter on 7/8/25, is now about to start her new wonderful life with an incredible family! She was very shy and human avoidant when we first rescued her, but has slowly started to find her confidence with the dedicated help of the foster mom and her best friend Cheonsa!

Thank you adopters for picking this special girl and opening up your hearts to helping her navigate her fears. Your patience and dedication for her, was felt throughout your application πŸ₯Ή. We can’t wait to see her grow with you, and her new fur sibling Tom! We think he will be an excellent role model and take her under his wing πŸ₯Ή. We dreamed of this happy life for her πŸ’›.

Another very exciting adoption is Cheonsa! Blueberry’s bestie is heading to her own furever family too, and not too far from each other so they can have play dates!

Cheonsa and her 2 puppies were also rescued from the kill shelter on 3/28/25. She has helped many dogs, including the bag babies and kittens survive at the foster facility while she waited for a furever home. She has been such a wonderful mom to everyone.

Today, she is heading to a family that is very familiar to her, and a family that is near and dear to us as they have 2 JLR pups already. Chenosa will be #3 in this beautiful family…but it is a very special three. Chenosa is heading home, to be reunited with her very own puppies Howie & Harper!!! The family of 3 will never be apart anymore and our hearts are beaming with happiness! Thank you adopters for not only adopting both siblings to keep them together, but also adopting their mother !!! This is such an incredible unforgettable adoption 😭πŸ₯ΉπŸ’›. Your hearts are so big and all three are so loved and we could not of asked for a better happy ending πŸ™πŸ½.

We are still searching for Riku and have new information to share.

πŸ“ Possible sighting β€” July 1, around 9:40 p.m.
A driver reported seeing a white dog resembling Riku from Hwy 95 near the Angel Point turnoff, about 10 miles south of Hanksville.

If you see him, please:

After two months of searching, we had to leave camp and return home to Oregon - we are no longer physically in the area. As we gather more information and plan our return to Hanksville, please keep a close eye on and near the road, especially at dawn and dusk.

We need local volunteers who can:
β€’ put up and pass out fresh flyers in town
β€’ set up a feed station and trail camera
β€’ keep eyes out for sightings

Everyone give a warm welcome to our charming boy Eagle! He is full of curiosity and adventure. He listens well, and walks great on a leash, matching his walkers pace. He is energetic, intelligent and very active. An experienced family is a must!
He can be selective with dogs, from what we have observed lately. He tends to challenge males of similar age, and tends to gravitate towards female company. Because he can be selective, he would strive best as an only dog.

Eagle has a very special rescue story :

Little Eagle was an unexpected resident at a golf course. To some, he was considered a nuisance, others
an adorable teddy bear. Eagle loved the golf course and everyone that played there. It’s unclear how he got there but it became his home, and his entire world.
He greeted everyone with a radiant smile. He would wait on the side when a golfer was teeing off, and then follow along happily wagging his tail. He even fetched lost golf balls and brought them back to the golfers.

Though, despite his charm and friendliness, many club members began complaining about him and there was a rumor, that Eagle would vanish soon. A loving golfer overheard this horrible story, and decided to rescue him. He is now being privately fostered (not in our foster facility) and is very popular with the staff!

"His world has only just begun."
He is waiting for his forever family to write the very first page of his new life and the journey they will all take together. πŸ™

‼️ Donations needed for 2 sweet but very sick babies ‼️

Maxx and Paxx were dumped and found wandering on the streets and picked up by the Kimhae shelter. JLR was notified and our foster mom took quick action and picked them up! She brought them to the vet immediately to get evaluated. It was very clear they needed urgent medical attention!

They were both diagnosed with severe Demodectic mange and will need medication and weekly medicated baths. We are still waiting on other results as well but it’s also evident they were not well cared for. We are hoping that they are not positive for anything else, but considering the condition they were found in, we want to be prepared to give them any care and attention they need πŸ™πŸ½. 3 years and 3 months since Pluto was rescued on the Miryang Dog Meat Farm. 3 years and 3 months ago he was caged up with 25 of his friends, doomed for death and 3 years and 3 months he has watched every single one of his friends get adopted.

A lot of the meat farm dogs suffered a great deal of trauma and some ended up to be more shy and skiddish than others. The sad reality is, the shy skiddish ones tend to be the last ones to get adopted. Pluto and Akela are the last 2 from the 26 dogs rescued that day, and every day that goes by we wish harder and harder that their furever family will notice them.

If anyone has ever adopted a shy dog, they know how truly rewarding it is to watch them grow, feel safe and come out of their shell. The bond that is built off compassion, patience, love and understanding is a very special bond to have with these incredible dogs.
It’s something that’s quite difficult
To explain in words, but anyone who has a dog like Pluto, knows exactly what we are talking about.

We know there’s a furever family out there for Pluto that sees him for the gentle, loving, soulful kind boy that he is. A family that has a collection of large hearts for what he went through, and a mission to keep this boy safe and happy, always. A family that wants to give Pluto all the love and compassion that he has always deserved. A furever family, with a forever dog sibling to help build his confidence and be his best friend, always and never let go.

It’s a beautiful day for a freedom flight! Our sweet, loving girl Julie (now named Jujube) who was rescued on Mother’s Day weekend (5/12/25) when her mother passed away, at barely a month old is heading to her furever home πŸ₯Ή. We have watched Jujube grow into a wonderful, delightful beautiful girl and we are so proud of her. Her momma would have been proud too. Today we celebrate her special day as she heads to an amazing family. Thank you adopters for adopting this sweet girl. She has waited quite a while for the perfect home and after connecting with you, we knew in our hearts why she waited so long. It was because she was waiting for you πŸ₯Ή.

We cannot wait to watch her blossom and bond with her new Jindo sister Peach, and experience all the wonderful things life has to offer! We are searching for a courier that is flying on Korean Air or Asiana Air airlines heading to ATL after June 28th πŸ™πŸ½.

Pixy was rescued 11 months ago with her siblings. Two are still looking for homes but we are happy to say, she will be heading to her furever home to be reunited with one of them in the US! It has been a struggle finding a courier to Atlanta, so we are hoping this post will reach someone traveling in that direction to bring her home!
