Days are getting shorter, the season isa changin'. Fall is here, and our supply of honey is getting low. Need to make hot toddies, fire honey, garlic or ginger infused honey for the season? We have raw honey!

Hmmmm, maybe a fall harvest?!? Plenty of weight and capped honey in the lower boxes. The girls are looking good!

Today I pulled out and replace beetle traps! I've had a few beekeepers interested in this as I use the swiffer sheets. My girls have started propolizing the sheets so they are not as effective. New sheets went in, the battle continues.

Did ya know?????
The honey industry, in the world, generates $10 Billion (with a Bee) a year!!
So is it surprising that honey is #3 in the world for counterfeiting and making fake? Behind olive oil and dairy products!
Trees only produce X amount of olives. Cows only produce X amount of milk. And my girls only produce so much honey. It's just math, and I have a farm with just six production hives. I only sell what they can spare.

So.....real honey ain't cheap, cheap honey ain't real. Buy local to get the good stuff. If not from me, another local beekeeper...you deserve it!
