This past dove season my oldest finally got her first dove. We ended up with a limit between the two of us. It was an exciting and memorable moment for both of us. Today was the day we decided to cook them for supper. It allowed her to see the full circle of being a sportsman, or in her words, a sportswoman. From the field to the table, we shared stories of the hunt and listened to her brag about it. I'm so fortunate to have girls who want to be outdoors. Take those kids while you can folks, they only grow up once!

Ol pepper was the first squirrel dog I ever had the pleasure of hunting behind several years ago. Little did i know, that walk in the woods with chris johnson, his dog pepper, and a few good friends would become something i whole heartedly enjoy. I got a chance to hunt her this afternoon. Hunted a new area. Made 3 trees and dropped 3 squirrels in 1hr. She is a Top notch dog forsure.

Been a busy couple of weekends but the new kennel is finally done! Shout out to Murray Ragan for the awesome fully insulated dog house! If you havent seen them look him up on facebook! Once we find Tate a girlfriend I will definitely be buying another one! Always Follow your dreams as willingly as you follow your squirrel dog!
