This past dove season my oldest finally got her first dove. We ended up with a limit between the two of us. It was an exciting and memorable moment for both of us. Today was the day we decided to cook them for supper. It allowed her to see the full circle of being a sportsman, or in her words, a sportswoman. From the field to the table, we shared stories of the hunt and listened to her brag about it. I'm so fortunate to have girls who want to be outdoors. Take those kids while you can folks, they only grow up once!
