🐖🦆 You are the reason they made it.

Every nourishing meal, safe place to rest, and second chance at the East Maui Animal Refuge is made possible by people who care.

As we near the 50th anniversary of caring for animals at the place that would eventually be called “the Boo Boo Zoo,” we know we could never have reached this milestone without the dedicated support of our volunteers, caretakers, and donors. For nearly five decades, their generosity and compassion have helped provide lifelong sanctuary to animals who had nowhere else to go. 💗

🐾🐾You can help carry this work into the next 50 years. Become a monthly donor and give our animals the dependable care they need every day.

Donate at https://www.eastmauianimalrefuge.org/donate and select the monthly option.

Already a monthly donor or volunteer? Mahalo for being the reason they made it.🌹

Every heartbeat should be heard. 🐾🐔🐔

At the East Maui Animal Refuge, every rescued animal has a story. Some arrive frightened, injured, abandoned, or simply with nowhere else to go. Here at the Boo Boo Zoo, they find something every animal deserves: safety, compassionate care, and a place to call home.
🍃🍃

That care happens every single day. Food, veterinary attention, medications, shelter, and the daily work of caring for our animal ʻohana never stop.

Monthly donors make that ongoing commitment possible. Even a modest recurring gift gives the Refuge dependable support we can count on month after month. 💞

If you believe every heartbeat matters, please consider becoming a monthly donor today:

And to everyone who has helped the Boo Boo Zoo over the years, mahalo. Whether you donated once, give every month, volunteered your time, cared for an animal, or simply stood behind our mission, you have helped make this sanctuary possible. 🙏🌹

To our past and current donors, caretakers, and volunteers: the lives saved here are part of your legacy, too.

For every animal who arrives at the East Maui Animal Refuge abandoned, injured, orphaned, or simply with nowhere else to go, that care can mean everything: nourishing food, safe shelter, medical attention, patience, and a place to belong.

None of this would be possible without the generous donors and dedicated volunteers and caretakers who have stood beside us through the years. To each of you, mahalo for giving your time, resources, and compassion. You have helped save lives and given hundreds of animals a loving ʻohana. 🌺

Today, we invite you to make that care dependable by becoming a monthly donor. Even $20 a month helps us plan ahead and provide consistent care every day of the year.

Please choose the monthly giving option when you donate:

If you already support the animals through monthly donations or volunteering, mahalo! 💗💗

They don’t need much. They just need someone like you to care.

Every injured, abandoned, or forgotten animal who arrives at East Maui Animal Refuge needs more than good intentions. They need food, shelter, medical care, clean spaces and gentle hands. And people willing to show up.

The Boo Boo Zoo can only continue this lifesaving work because compassionate people choose to act.

You can help in two powerful ways:

Become a monthly donor:
https://www.eastmauianimalrefuge.org/donate

Or volunteer your time with East Maui Animal Refuge and help care for the animals who depend on us every day.

To every donor, caretaker, and volunteer who has supported EMAR in the past, mahalo. Your kindness has kept animals safe, loved, and cared for when they had nowhere else to go.

Please don’t look away. Be part of the rescue.💖🐾🥰

This is the story of Miracle. She was recently adopted by one of our volunteers and now lives on a beautiful pasture in Kula.
