We had an awesome day at JB memorial, Jezeriah and I started with a plan to just see how she would cruise through the ride and she did wonderful.
All A’s all day, stayed right there with the second place group, and had the best pulse downs. 6/22 isn’t what we normally place but with the winter off and this being a test run I’m not dissatisfied at all.

Big day for Sweets today! Her first haul away trail, her first solo trail, and her first time on an actual trail that isn’t 1/2 a mile from the house! Nothing builds more confidence than when they only have you and themselves to rely on. She was a superstar all day and only did one “dirty” spook in the whole 9 miles.

Everyone was enjoying the morning sun, during this cold snap. Especially old lady Famous, who I was surprised to see flat out cold. She’s 26/27 this year and normally winters are hard on her bones. This year since starting her magnawave and 6 month injections she seems like she ages backwards.

I haven’t got to brag on Kim’s mare in a minute, Sweets has been one a kind in so many ways. She made me work for every step forward we made, and humbled me just as much. After two weeks off of riding she stepped out into the big field in nothing but a rope halter and never placed a foot wrong. I’m excited to see what these next few months hold for her.

New guy! He is fat, pushy, and will nip if given the chance. At one point he was halter broke 4-5 years ago, then he sat around gained a couple hundred pounds, and learned some bad manners like running people over.
In just a little under an hour Buck is now a gentleman to halter; keep an eye out for updates on this guy!

I promise my clients safe, idiot proof, and kind horses when they come home. The methods may be questionable but I did say idiot proof! Sweets and I have been board at home with the outbreak and rain. So why not learn to operate an umbrella!

Due to the recent outbreaks of EHV-1 going around. TW performance will be taking a quick break from our travel magnawave services as well as taking in any new clients for the time being. We strive for the betterment of the horses we are lucky enough to care for and that includes minimizing the risks for health issues. Praying for all that have been effected at this time.
