We are committed to helping animals of all shapes and sizes meet their forever families. A small animal rescue in Guthrie, Oklahoma. While many different species of animals live in the sanctuary, some cats and dogs are only temporary residents in the rescue. Adoptable pets are listed on the website 😻

Anna Banana is looking for a home! 🐶

This sassy 3 year old chiweenie girl is spunky and snuggly, the perfect combo for someone wanting a little lapdog who doesn't mind dressing up! Anna is around 10-15lbs, and honestly a bit chubby 😂 But she has been rocking halloween costumes at our recent events all the same! She is spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, and lookin' for love!

Anna loves to cuddle, but boy does she let the Amazon delivery driver know when she's seen him coming down the driveway. 🙄 This short stack has a voice, and she loves to use it. When everything is calm in the home, she matches that chill vibe, but intruders will not go unnoticed while Anna is on watch dog duty. 😅 Her bark may sound scary to other dogs, but she is actually dog friendly, just very opinionated. She gets along well with adult cats, and is great with children too!

Anna does well with p*e-pads, but we do want any adopter to understand that taking her out on a regular schedule will be very important if they want to see perfection in her house training. She's not a girl to be kept waiting, so washable p*e pads are a great investment if you work long hours.

Cherry Blossom is looking for a home! 😻

This beautiful girl is 2-3 years old, spayed, vaccinated and microchipped. She came to the rescue nursing kittens, who have now gone for their spayneuters too! 😉 She is the first of her little family to start looking for a forever home, but her kittens aren't far behind.

Cherry is very playful, and loves to chase any kind of dangle toy or stick. 🧶 🎣 She's kind of a big kitten herself, and spends lots of time wrassling with her children or jumping around the cat tree. When its her foster mom's bed time, Cherry is quick to climb in with her for a good cuddle, and to watch some videos together. 🥰 She loves to watch TV, or p*ek at the neighborhood through the window.

Cherry has done well with other cats so far, and might be ok with calm dogs. Human kids should be fine so long as they are gentle, and communal play time will help this beautiful momma settle in fastest.

Back-to-back events sure is exhausting 😩🥱 but!! We did have some success this weekend!

Our beautiful big girl Snow found a home yesterday at the Pawsitively Fall event over at Guthrie Art Glass Emporium! 🥳 💖 Happy Tails, Snow!!

We had a great turnout today at Edmond Petsmart too! A couple little dogs had some applications come in 👀 so those are pending adoption! 🤞🤞

A busy weekend, but a good one. We're all going to sleep very well tonight, thats for sure! 😆

Nick is looking for a home! 🐶

This goofy pup is a 2 year old neutered male Shepherd/Border Collie mix. Aside from having a very charming smile, and super cute floppy ears, Nick is vaccinated, microchipped, and good with most other dogs.

Nick is a former street dog, and has only recently learned the joys of being a house dog. 🥺 He loves soft beds, raised beds, toys of all shapes and sizes, and all the tasty food that comes with being a beloved pet instead of a starving stray. 💕Leashes and car rides are still pretty scary for him, but kennels have been ok! He's learning - it's a lot of baby steps. We're just thankful that he has no issues with sharing food or toys with the other dogs in rescue. 😅

It is important that Nick's new home has no livestock or cats in it. He has a pretty high prey drive, and would do well with a family that wants to train him for sporting. Tennis balls are a much better outlet for that than the neighbor's chickens, type thing. 😳🐔 He does love to play in the yard and generally be outside, and is very respectful of a good fence. We think having a dog friend of similar size and energy in the home would be perfect - someone who will play and wrassle with him to help get his energy out.

A couple months ago, we posted an adorable pair of gray fluffy kittens for adoption 💖 They quickly got a home, but the update photos that came 3 weeks later ended up being some scary news, and their new mom was reaching out for help. 🥺

One of the kittens, now named Runa, had swelled up like a water balloon, and the vet confirmed everyone's fears - FIP. 😱 Without treatment, Feline Infectious Peritonitis is 100% fatal. So it's a very good thing we have quite a bit of experience treating it by this point! We eagerly agreed to help Runa and her mom take on Wet FIP 💙 They are just one month into treatment, and Runa is already back to her old self!! 🥳

At the same time that Runa is undergoing treatment, one of the cats at our rescue who has been with us a year now, Fluff, had something start going on with her eye. 😬 We are no strangers to Ocular FIP, and unfortunately, it's looking like Fluff is in the early stages. We'd love to get a jump on her treatment too, and honestly, a foster home (or foster to adopt!) would likely help make her 3 months of treatment much easier.

Fluff is a very snuggly, lovey girl. We know she will handle treatment well, especially if there is a churu involved 😆 so we aren't to worried about the actual medication part.

The worry is of course, the cost. 🥲 FIP treatment is based on weight, and while Runa only costs us about 130/month.... Fluff is fully grown. Her treatment will likely be closer to 160/month. 😰

Update: Pending adoption! 👀

Popcorn is looking for a home! 🐶

This handsome, scruffy little man is a 5 month old Standard Poodle / Pitbull mix! He's got the long poodle legs, and the goofy pitty personality- the perfect combo for a super unique family dog. Popcorn is neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, house trained, and great on a leash! He will happily sit for a treat too. 😋

Popcorn is the last of his litter to find a home. This sweet boy really is perfect, and everyone's best friend. Kids, cats, dogs, you name it, he's given it a big ol' smooch. He loves to play outside with dogs of all sizes, especially if there is water involved. 🌊 Two separate picture days, this kid has thrown himself in the dog pool on a hot afternoon. He would love to have a family who'll take him on adventures like camping, to the lake, or even just to the dog park. He's game for anything, so long as the day ends with a cuddle on the couch.

Update: 🤞Pending adoption!

Tex is looking for a home! 🐶

This handsome Doberman is 6 years old, neutered, vaccinated and microchipped. He's a real charmer, and is known to be a very well behaved gentleman 🤵 at the rescue. Tex is house trained, great on a leash, and fantastic with other dogs.

We think Tex would do well with most children over 8 years old. His previous home had a young, medically fragile child, and while Tex never did anything to harm the little one, he was clearly not comfortable with something so tiny holding onto him. Other kids have been totally fine, and he loves a good romp in the yard ⚾ with anyone who will play with him.

Experience with the breed is a huge plus, but we will be considering adopters who have a fenced yard, or are willing to take this boy on walks regularly. 🐕🚶‍♂️He loves his couch time as much as any other 6 year old dog, but some exercise does need to be in his life to keep his brain happy.
