🐾 Just a heads up from Red ☎️🐾

Our phone line is still down. I'm not entirely sure what the issue is but I'll be heading to get the phone hopefully sorted this afternoon.

Until then, all calls and texted are being directed to Red.

Red can't read so... maybe message us over Facebook instead ;)

PS it has been kind of peaceful without the phone ringing off the hook.

PSS the foster line is still up and running smoothly for fosters that may need anything!

No New Kids Today 🤦

Well today is a huge bust, I've been experiencing cellphone issues all morning. Currently I have no GPS to be able to navigate my route so I had to make the decision to turn around before we ended up becoming lost. Without Wi-Fi I can't even get a phone call out.

Let me tell you, Steven took the news pretty hard. No nuggies... No new friends 😞

Next week is about to be a busy one

🐾 These 12 kids need your help‼️ 🐾

We are still reeling from the 98 dog case which means we have a lot of kids 👀 for their forever 🏠 but they need your help to finding them!

Even if you're not in a place to adopt you can still make a huge difference! Every time someone shares this post they greatly increase their odds of being seen by a potential adopter. That one click of a button could change a life forever. 🙏 PLEASE SHARE

If you're interested in adopting please be sure to read the following information 👇

‼️ Important ℹ️ ‼️

* Completing an application is the first step in the adoption process. You must have an approved application for that specific dog in order to secure a meet & greet. The 🔗 to the Adoption Application can be found in the description underneath each kid's 📸

* Adoption Fee's are located at the 🔝 of the application

* All kids are UTD on parvo, distemper, leptospirosis, kennel cough and rabies vaccines, spayed/neutered, 4dx tested if over 1 year of age, de-wormed, UTD on flee, tick, internal parasite and heartworm prevention prior to adoption. The kids are also sent home with one month of prevention.

🐾 Only Two New Kids This Week 🐾

These two beautiful girls are going to be heading to the PETS Program at the Allen Oakwood Correctional Facility ❤️

Both girls are already incredibly loving and sweet and they seem to be very easy going. With the help of the PETS Program they are going to be some really amazing companions once they do their 6 weeks of training.

Even though these girls have a place to land, we always keep and 👀 out for new fosters as new kids join us nearly every week!

So we have one rule around here...

The rescue kids stay in the dog building aka Dog City. They have their own yard to run in, their own "bedrooms" with an elevated 🛏️, blankets, toys, chews and fresh food/water.

We have this separation so the permanent residents can have peace (us too) and their own space. It's important so everyone can be comfortable.

Even though they have to stay in the building while they're here they still get a lot of 💕 and attention

Unless a kiddo has major medical needs we do not bend this rule

Anyway, Peanut slept in our bed last night and basically took over like he owned the place

Peanut said rules are meant to be broken...

It's a good thing he gets adopted today because he is dangerously cute 🫣

🐾 Meet Cali 👋 🐾

Cali came to us a couple of years ago with two tiny three day old babies in toe. Cali did a wonderful job raising her little babies and then the time came for the little family to go to their new 🏠

Things were perfect, Cali found a great home, the perfect family.... she had it all

For over a year Cali truly lived the perfect life

But as we know life can sometimes be cruel. Tragically Cali and her Mom's life were flipped upside-down by a person's decision to get behind the wheel intoxicated.

Cali waited 11 months in the hopes of being able to go back 🏠 but unfortunately this just isn't a possibility.

Cali coming back was one of the hardest days we've ever had to experience, not because she wasn't cared for or loved but it's because of how much love her Mom had for her that hurt.

We made a promise to her mom that we intend to keep, we promised to find her an amazing home where she will continue to be loved the way she deserves, a home where she will continue to be family.

If you think you could be that home for Cali please feel free to submit an application via the 🔗 listed underneath the description 👇 her photos.

If could, please take a moment to give Cali a share

👀 Nothing gets past you guys so I figured we've got some explaining to do.... 👀

A few people have been asking some valid questions:

"Wasn't Red adopted?"
"Did Red get returned?"
"Did something happen?!"
But most importantly "Where's Red"⁉️

The answer to most of your questions YES.

YES Red was adopted, YES Red did get returned

Red and his new Mom (bless her for giving it her all) were really struggling the first few days to connect. It's nothing she did, Red is just one that takes time to trust new people but once he does you're his whole 🌎

Things were finally looking up for the duo but as Red started to really settle in he decided that heckling and giving their VERY geriatric 🐈 a hard time was his new favorite past time. Due to the cats age she couldn't tolerate it.

After days of trying and many tears the hard decision was made for him to return to the rescue so the cat could have the peace she deserves.

We all love Red dearly, this isn't his fault (okay maybe a little bit 🫢).

Because we love him so much the idea of him sitting in a kennel waiting for the perfect 🏠 to come along just didn't feel right.

Red needs a special home, one where there's no little kids or elderly felines, one where his new family will grant him the time he needs to feel safe around them... BUT we're hoping that may not be the case forever.

Rather than have him sit here waiting we made the decision to send Red back to the PETS program at the Allen Oakwood Correctional Facility. Red is going to continue to bloom like the precious 🌼 he is with their help. Everyone was pretty excited to hear that he was coming back and honestly we're excited for him too.

Red loved his time in the PETS program so much so that when he realized where we were his tail was going a mile a minute. That made my heart feel a lot lighter because I have grown really attached to this slightly naughty but ever so sweet little boy. I'm sure he couldn't wait to get inside tell his friends about his recent adventures ❤️

At this point Red will let us know when he's ready to try again but for now he's happy and he's right where he wants to be.

🐾 7 New Faces 🐾

These kiddos have officially made it on to transport to head back to Dog City 🥰. It is going to be a rather late arrival as we've experienced a few delays while on the road
We'll be lucky if we pull in a little before 10pm.

If you've been following us for a while then have you probably realized that we pick up new kids nearly every week because of this, we're always 👀 for new fosters.

These kids would love a comfy 🛋️ to crash on while they wait for surgery

🐾 16 New kids This Week‼️🐾

We've got a few "odd dogs" again. What can I say, we love all animals 🤷

We had two transports this week (yesterday and today). Now that everyone from the second group is loaded and heading back to the rescue, what we need now is fosters! These kids would love a cozy 🛋️ to crash on.

Because we have new kids join us almost every Wednesday we are always on the lookout for new/back up fosters‼️
