I’ve waited to share this until I knew it could actually work… but one of my biggest dreams is finally starting to come to life 🥹🐾
Back in March, my best friend (a social worker for a local public elementary school ) invited me to host a table at their schools annual career day.
Of course I expected kids to be excited about dogs.
What I didn’t expect was how many wanted to learn about dog behavior, rescue, training, advocacy, and what working with dogs actually looks like.
The response was so incredible that I was invited back to create something bigger with the freedom to present, “whatever I felt the kids needed.”
So… Wag Whisperers: Junior Canine Advocate Program was born 🐶✨
My goal is to bring this program into more schools and help make dog safety and canine education more accessible for kids. Because kids and dogs are growing up together every day, but many children are never taught how to safely and respectfully interact with them or appropriately handle unwanted interactions.
Kids under 12 still account for OVER 400,000 reported dog bites every year. reported.

thats not just a dog problem, its also a lack of education, lack of advocation, human problem.
Wag Whisperers is about creating understanding, teaching dog body language, safe interactions, advocacy, and helping build a future where kids and dogs coexist better together. Whether they live with them or not. Educated awareness is the key.
This is only the beginning, but I’m so excited to see where it goes and love to hear any thoughts or suggestions as the program develops further.🖤
