🚨 3 DOGS. 3 LIVES. ONE URGENT DEADLINE: MONDAY, OCTOBER 19TH 🚨

Blanche, Freya, and Blue urgently need adopters or rescue placement!
Long shelter stays and kennel stress are taking a toll, and these dogs need people willing to step up before Monday.

🐾 GOOD NEWS: THEIR ADOPTION FEES ARE DISCOUNTED AND MAY EVEN BE WAIVED THIS FRIDAY FOR FREEDOM FRIDAY! ❤️🐶 If you've been thinking about adopting, this is the perfect time to take the next step!

💛MEET BLANCHE 💛 ADOPTED!!
💛1 year old
💛 Under 40lbs
💛Blanche is still so young, with so much life ahead of her. She deserves the chance to grow, play, and experience life outside a shelter kennel. She came in with her sister and is a rockstar in puppy playgroup!

🧡MEET FREYA 🧡
🧡 2 years old
🧡Female, Spayed
🧡 Around 50lbs
🧡Freya has been waiting since June. That's months of shelter life without a home of her own. She is already spayed and available for adoption. She needs someone to see her as more than another dog behind kennel bars.

💙MEET BLUE 💙 ADOPTED!!
💙2 years old
💙 Male, Neutered
💙Around 65-75lbs
💙 Blue is a young adult dog who is available for adoption. He deserves the same opportunity as any other dog to find a person willing to give him a chance.

We understand that not everyone can adopt. We understand rescues are full. But if these 3 awesome dogs can get out of here, it will be because of the combined efforts of the staff advocating for them and the community stepping up to help.

These dogs have already spent months waiting. They cannot understand why they are still in a kennel or when someone will finally choose them. They are depending on people in the community to help change their circumstances.

💛💙We are open Monday-Friday 10M-4:30PM, Saturday 10AM-3PM. 💙💛

🧡🍁Meet these amazing animals that need your help getting out of the shelter this week! 🍁🧡
Freya, Blanche, and Ari are three fantastic girls who want to go home with you!
All three have been in the shelter for far too long and deserve a place in someone's home.

❤️Freya is a sweet, high-energy girl who has been waiting to get out of the shelter for months. She came in as a stray and may have a family that never came for her. She's always wiggly and happy when people walk through. She's met many families and couples. All of them have loved her, but none have ever returned for her.
🧡Ari has been in our shelter with her brother since she was 2 months old. She has grown up and seen all the other kittens from her litter get adopted. As she got older, fewer people wanted to meet her. Now she's 6 months old, and she's alone.
💛Blanche came into the shelter with her sister. Both have been overlooked for months while they have grown up here. Once Rue was adopted, Blanche was alone and waiting for her turn.

Freya and Ari are spayed and fully vaccinated. Blanche is awaiting a spay appointment.

🍂 All three have discounted adoption fees that include the cost of the spay, their vaccines, and their microchips. 🍂

💙💛 Check out our amazing dogs this week. We're located at 105 Justice Blvd Griffin, GA 30224. 💙💛

🐴🐄 Before the storm, protect your livestock.

Severe weather preparedness goes beyond the front door, it includes the animals in your pastures, pens, and barns. Spalding County livestock owners, take time now to prepare your property and make sure your animals’ needs are covered.

Check fences, gates, and shelters for damage, and secure loose equipment that could become hazardous in strong winds. Store extra feed and hay in a dry, protected location, and plan how you’ll provide clean drinking water if power outages affect your well or watering system.

Identify safer areas away from flood-prone ground, damaged structures, and trees that could fall. Don’t wait until the storm arrives to start preparing. Early action can help prevent escaped animals, injuries, and avoidable emergencies.

Your livestock depend on you. Plan ahead, stay informed, and put their safety into action. 💙

🐾 Your emergency plan isn’t complete without them.

When severe weather threatens, your pets depend on you to keep them safe. Spalding County residents, take time now to make a plan that includes every member of your family, including those with paws.

Identify a pet-friendly place to stay, keep leashes and carriers accessible, and pack food, water, medications, and vaccination records. Make sure ID tags and microchip contact information are current, and arrange a trusted caregiver who can help if you’re away when severe weather arrives.

Stay informed, stay prepared, and keep them close. 💙
